We had some great meals at @hoteladlonkempinski in Berlin. Thanks to our travel agent @thetriptrotter for helping us book several great restaurants in our hotel - the first night, we had dinner at Brasserie Quarré, a French restaurant with some German influences. It was quite delicious. I love all the varieties of homemade bread in Germany. And the hostess brought a pedestal for my bag (@delvaux Craft Beyond Borders Obi Weave Tempête) 👜 Germany treats bags quite well too!

We also enjoyed cocktails & coffee in their lobby patio that had the elephant fountain. Their daily breakfast was quite good with a lot of different options to choose from. And how you can not love that view of the Brandenburg Gate as a backdrop?

Simply lovely! Stayed tuned to see our other amazing meals in Berlin 🇩🇪!

On this #StyleSunday with our recent travels to Germany 🇩🇪 - First stop was to Berlin! We checked into @hoteladlonkempinski which is located right across from their famous & iconic Brandenburg Gate - a powerful landmark of Germany's reunification day on October 3rd. The Brandenburg Gate was completed in 1791 and the neoclassical monument remained a gathering piece with the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989. We stayed in the Mitte neighborhood of Berlin on Unter den Linden, near Tiergarten.

Loved having a nice cup of coffee in the lobby at Hotel Adlon and their elephant fountain.

First lunch was fully German at a nearby restaurant near Brandenburg Gate with some great beer 🍻, currywurst, bratwurst, pretzel & the Germans really know how to make good potatoe soup! We walked around before heading back to our hotel for our dinner reservations at Brasserie Quarre.

Best bag to travel with was my @delvaux Pin Daily with pin bucket & Belgian Frites Charms.

Our Germany trip planned by our travel agent @thetriptrotter who knows just what we like when we travel. Stay tuned for more photos and reels of our trip to Germany!

When your pin bucket charm matches your cocktail 🍸🩷 This Lunar New Year Pin Bucket is so special to me because I happen to be born in the Year of the Horse 🐴. Did you know that the LNY pin bucket design is made with horse hair? I got this as a LNY birthday gift earlier this year in February from @joseph_delvaux_nyc at the @delvaux NYC boutique. I also love the cute horse charm on my pin bucket as well 🐎

Style Sunday - a throwback to our times in Brussels and going to the Comic Museum to see my favorite Belgian comics. Did you know? I grew up reading Tintin & his adventures with Snowy & Captain Haddock as a child? Blistering Barnacles!

Bag choice of the day was my @delvaux Tempête in light blue that I got at Le 27 Boutique while I was there!

It is Tempo Tuesday ✨ and this is my @delvaux Le Brillant Tempo appreciation reel. I love all my different Tempo Brillants - the large one in noir is so versatile and just perfect for work. That was my first Brillant Tempo that I got in August 2025. My second Tempo was the smaller version in Mistral (light grey) that arrived in October 2025. Then my husband got me my third Tempo in Brume (light blue) for my birthday earlier this year 2026. All are from the Delvaux NYC boutique with @joseph_delvaux_nyc 👍🏻

All are made of lightweight Allure calf and are the perfect bags for work and just strolling around casually on the weekends. And of course I love to put different @delvaux bag charms on them! The Tempo Brillant is fun & versatile and a great version of the iconic Brillant that I love!

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is a celebration of the Moon. Moon cakes are closely tied to the festival. Families gather together to admire the full moon, share meals, and offer blessings for prosperity.

The Mid-Autumn moon festival that is very much like Thanksgiving where it highlights gratitude, reunion and the beauty of nature.

Moon cakes are enjoyed during this festival and the round shape symbolizes unity, harmony and togetherness in my culture and heritage. In addition, it is more than just a dessert, for sharing moon cakes strengthens relationship across generations.

So on this Foodie Friday and the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, I hope to share a bit of my cultural heritage and this tradition I have with my family.

Combining my #WalkingWednesday & #FoodieFriday post into one. It was great to have a simple Taiwanese lunch with a client recently at @baobaocafe in Midtown (West 39th Street).

We enjoyed their signature Beef Noodle soup 牛肉麵 & Taiwanese popcorn chicken 鹽酥雞 which were my favorite dishes when I had studied abroad in Taipei, Taiwan.

Coincidentally, we shared that we both had studied abroad in Taiwan back in our college days. I had attended a semester at National Chengchi University 國立政治大學, a top Taiwanese University located in the Wenshan district of Taipei. It is a public research university and I learned quite a bit while I was there. She had attended National Taiwan University.

So as we enjoyed tasting these dishes of familiarity, we also discussed the management liability insurance renewal for her business.

A very productive day!

Flashing back to 2024 and my fun summer bag: my @delvaux pin pon 🏓 Such a fun shape of a crescent moon 🌙 and super fun & versatile to carry around town. What do you think of Delvaux's Pin Pon? I also remember seeing it at the @delvaux.antwerp boutique when we visited that year.
