Park City - Salt Lake - Asheville - Charleston

Quite a ride last month. I got to spend quality time with family friends (where I had a random Lisa Barlow sighting - IYKYK) get back into yoga, and visit Charleston (that city brings such amazing energy).

Onto the next ✈️

Alys Beach - Asheville - Atlanta - Asheville

I’ve always been a summer boy. My happiest moments from childhood were spent in a pool, a river, or a perfectly crisp lake. My trip to Alys Beach for work and see friends was incredibly rejuvenating, and then there was Atlanta: a beautiful city with a steadfast respect and commitment to design. Finally home to Asheville, my safe place, where long walks and reading time ended the month beautifully.

July 2026

Full of beauty and discoveries.

Dallas, Austin, Cincinnati, Dayton.

I spent some time digging through mementos and childhood artifacts, leading to an epic find from my Grandma Fraley. A reminder of how infinite love is.

Dear Micah,

Just think - one year old - I am getting anxious to see you again. Your Uncle Doug is looking forward to coming down on his spring break. You can tell him all the new things you have been doing.

One year has passed - just think of how you have grown - how much joy you have brought to our hearts. You are close to my heart. Just think of all the richness of exploring that you can do - you live in an atmosphere of unlimited possibilities. What a great beginning. My wish for you on this first birthday would be that you would become all that God would have you be and that you pick daises and go barefoot often. It really is a beautiful world out there and you are beautiful and you are surrounded with people who will not limit your spirit. This may sound heavy for a one year old but it is my prayer for you on this first day of March, your first birthday.

I am sending you a big box for your birthday. Am sanding it to your mommie’s church. Keep asking her about it until it comes. Have fun opening the box and discovering what is inside. SURPRISE.

Your Grandmother is getting excited about flying across the ocean the middle of May. Isn’t it exciting to think i can go see places that I have only read out. My head will be so full when i get home and I will have so much to tell you.

Love

My week of no social media is going really well, obviously.

But I love my BattleCat Coffee in West Asheville and couldn’t resist sharing this 90’s inspired aesthetic. taken in BattleCat CoffeeBar by @micahphone

How Asheville does a Tesla Cybertruck. Very demure, very mindful.
