Had a really Happy Birthday Week with friends here at home and friends on my weekend trip! I even got to hang out with my sister who flew in with the twins! A full week it was and I couldn't think of a better way to start off this new age, 29 years old! 🩷🍑💜💚💙

What a rare privilege it was to spend time with a piece of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at the Quilt Show hosted by @victorianatriverside in Covington yesterday. I was unprepared for the emotional reaction I am having.

I can hardly believe that I am still here, in 2024. I honestly didn’t think I would live to see 30. None of us did.

I miss my friends. They should be here.

Thank you @carrievanderzee and William Konop for bringing this amazing expression of love to the Victorian, where compassionate care has been the hallmark for 138 years. I am so proud of the work we do for LGBTQ seniors.

Friends, we’re celebrating the launch of our ten year tour with a Ten Year Retrospective Tasting Menu at Takoi. The tasting menu launches today as a way to kick-off the anniversary tour in style and features some of our most asked-for menu items from over the years, including the Thrice-Cooked Sweet Potatoes, Octo Rice, and Three-Flavored Snapper, among other dishes.

Standard menu pricing is $72 per guest with a vegetarian / vegan option priced at $60, not including gratuity or beverages. The tasting menu will have changes throughout the duration of our tour celebration in order to feature a larger cache of retrospective items. Please note: Full table participations is required for the tasting menu.
