I wrote a poetry book!

It’s been a wild ride and I can’t quite believe it’s out in time for Valentine’s Day, but it’s beautiful that it is because it’s all about love.

This book is so special to me and it’s honestly helped me understand the way I personally view the world and the way I want to lead my life. It’s for everyone that is interested in loving more fully and understanding what it means to truly love someone or something with all of yourself.

I hope it resonates, I hope it makes you take a harder look in the mirror and most of all I hope it brings you closer to someone you love.

Witness is now available online @omeleto🥳
AND
It’s also longlisted FYC at the 98th Academy Awards🤯

If you haven’t seen the film, please have a watch and send me and the team lots of nice comments and messages 😂
In all seriousness, it’s a really special film that so many people worked tirelessly on and it would mean the world to all of us if this story resonates with you!

Thank you to all of the wonderful people in this post (and not in this post) for teaching me more about myself as an artist and giving me a project where I feel like we are starting a conversation that is long overdue and entirely necessary. Now over to the audience, I hope you enjoy our film! by @michael1429

What a privilege it is to be part of the @nba2k world. Thank you to @christianpapierniak @greatviewproductions @harasynruth for trusting me with this opportunity and the entire 2K family for being so welcoming!

@godderickthepositive and @reygatsby were phenomenal scene partners and that prep session with Godderick the day before filming could pass as a 2K acting crash course. Really appreciate you both!

Also thank you so much to my VO agent @micaela_77, very grateful for all the work you put in to make this one happen! by @michael1429

A massive thank you to everyone that came to support! I can’t even begin to explain what it means to me to be performing in London again. Long may it continue!
Thank you to this amazing team for producing such a heartfelt piece of theatre and for trusting me with Khafi.

To @_yxng_aladdin, there’s no one I’d rather have had by my side brother. Hope we get the chance to do it again!

What if SIX DAYS IN BOMBAY were a movie?

That thought woke me up one night and kept me awake until I decided to pursue it. The idea was to choose three scenes from the book to bring to life. I was introduced to @radhamehta by my friend @nehaassar and then Radha and her team pulled everything together! She and her whole cast and crew are easy to work with and made the experience seamless.

I proudly present to you the first glimpse of SIX DAYS IN BOMBAY.

Meet Sona, the night nurse who is looking after Mira Novak at the Wadia Hospital in Bombay. The year is 1937. Mira, a famous Indian-Czech painter, was admitted complaining of abdominal pain and a raging headache. She needed emergency surgery and thanks to the ministrations of Dr. Mishra, she seems to be getting better. Or is she?

Cast featured:
Renu Razdan (as Sona)
Mouzam Makkar (as Mira Novak)
Michael MacLeod (as Dr. Mishra)

What do you think?!

The Best is Now.

After seeing so many inspiring (and patchy😂) moustaches from the lovely lads all over the UK this past month, we made this video to get people talking about Men’s mental health.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are “toughing it out”, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in the silence. Help us stop men dying too young by sharing this video or donating at the link in @michael1429 bio.

And if you feel like you’re one of those people in a dark place right now: There’s always someone who is willing to hear your story, if you allow yourself to be vulnerable with them. The only person who can truly isolate you is yourself.

Directed/Produced by: Karan Menon
