One of my favorite things about doing life with my husband is getting to be his partner in just about everything. 🤍

From serving together in premarital counseling, to traveling the world side by side, to building businesses and now assisting him in his Beyond the Beat: Musicality for Dancers class at DDC, we’ve been blessed with so many incredible opportunities to grow, serve, and create together.

There’s something so special about getting to support each other’s passions and watch God use our individual gifts in ways that bring us together. I may be the dance girl, and he may be the music man, but somehow God keeps finding beautiful ways to blend our worlds. 🎶🩰

My favorite role will always be being his wife, his teammate, and his biggest supporter. What a gift it is to build a life where we don’t just dream together, but get to do life together, too. ❤️

Scotland, you were absolutely wonderful! What a dream to experience the beauty from the breathtaking landscapes to the charming towns and unforgettable memories.

One of the sweetest parts of our trip was getting to spend time with our dear friends Carrie and Gary, and catching up with our friends Rob and Lewis. There is nothing quite like seeing familiar faces across the world!

And of course, getting to play a round of golf in the motherland was the cherry on top! ⛳️

There’s a certain way we do things at DDC. 🤍

It’s in the way we celebrate the little wins, encourage the shy dancers, cheer for one another, and create a space where every dancer feels seen.

It’s in the friendships made in the lobby, the giggles before class, the nerves before a performance, the proud moments on stage, and the teachers who pour into their dancers far beyond the choreography.

It’s in beautiful ballet technique and strong training, but also in kindness, confidence, character, modesty, and learning to love the person you are becoming.

At Devotions Dance Company, we believe dance is about so much more than what happens on the stage.

This is a glimpse into the DDC way.

Living in holy matrimony has shaped and grown us in ways I never thought possible.

It is such an honor to stand beside my husband, Dakota, and teach together through our church’s premarital ministry. Over the past five years, the Lord has strengthened our marriage in ways we never could have imagined, and we are continually humbled by His faithfulness.

Being entrusted to walk alongside engaged and married couples through the SYMBIS journey is a privilege we don’t take lightly. We pray that every conversation points couples back to Christ and helps build marriages that are rooted in His love, grace, and truth.

What a special morning.

Today, I had the honor of accepting the Best of the 352 Award for Educational Services on behalf of Devotions Dance Company. While my name may be attached to the studio, anyone who knows our story knows that I could never do this alone.

Standing beside me is my husband, Dakota, the man behind the scenes who sacrifices, encourages, supports, problem-solves, and believes in every dream I have, even when they seem impossible. Through the long days, late nights, challenges, victories, and everything in between, he has been my rock.

Building something meaningful takes a village, and I am so grateful for the incredible families, students, staff, and community who have trusted us along the way. But today, I want to especially thank Dakota. Your unwavering support has made so much of this possible.

My heart is full of gratitude. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and continues to support our mission. We are humbled beyond words and excited for all that is still to come. 🤍
