Had a lovely time speaking with new @artsedlondon students yesterday about budgeting and finance whilst they're training. Honoured to have been invited back for a third year.

Last month got to sing music composed by one of my best friends at the BML Showcase. ❤️

It was wonderful meeting so many talent people.

Congrats to all the composers and lyricists - can't wait to see what you do next! taken in The Divine by @michaelabennison

Had a great time on Saturday back in my old stomping ground singing some new musical theatre writing at @thestagedoorso with @aardvarkscantjump. Just about recovered from my 20+ hour day!

Really enjoyed this evening's @justaddmilkjam workshop with casting director Ri McDaid-Wren at @olddiorama. Plus I had a lovely walk through Regent's Park before hand. Lovely 🌷

So, remember when that publishing company launched a playwriting competition to combat "woke" West End plays? Well, I made a video about it. Because I have thoughts and god dammit I'm sharing them.

Link to my channel in the link tree in my bio (if you want to check it out). Picture of a mixed-raced woman from the shoulders up with a confused look on her face, surrounded by screenshots from posts referencing a playwriting competition to counter political plays. Above her, a title reads, "this is a hot mess". by @michaelabennison

Is #throwbackthursday still a thing? Who knows! But anyway, throwback to last July when I decided to write a blog post every day for 31 days on my website. What fun and larks were had!

Link in bio and all that jazz. Or if you CBA with that, my website is literally www.michaelabennison.co.uk. Simples! by @michaelabennison

A very theatrical 48hrs: reading some fantastic monologues at "Criterion New Writing" @criterion_theatre yesterday, watched the second reading of @joshjhinds current project @theatredeli today, and topped off by seeing @allmysonstheplay this evening with @jacobingz and @smxchd! by @michaelabennison

Post Xmas job photo dump.

This was a really special show. Both the vibes and the humans were immaculate. My heart is so full 💖
