Last month got to sing music composed by one of my best friends at the BML Showcase. ❤️

It was wonderful meeting so many talent people.

Congrats to all the composers and lyricists - can't wait to see what you do next!

Had a great time on Saturday back in my old stomping ground singing some new musical theatre writing at @thestagedoorso with @aardvarkscantjump. Just about recovered from my 20+ hour day!

🌻A day of Poetry & Song
🌻Fundraising in aid of Mind

Hi my names Natalie Sanderson and I'm a Poet:
Who has recently finished working with The National Poetry Centre and National Literacy Trust. Last year I started my own Online Poetry Workshops for Adults called:

Turn To The Sun Poetry with a great success of the Poets that took part who are all Neurodivergent - I really wanted to create a day performance for them to be able to perform their own poems created from the writing sessions and what better way to do it than Fundraising in aid of Mind with 100% ticket sales going to Mind, which is a charity very close to my heart.

🌻Raising awareness around mental health is something I've been passionate about for a long time as I've always struggled with my own mental health and was referred for ADHD in 2024 so this is my way of helping others around me so to be able to bring my love of creativity along with that is beautiful. And bringing people together through Poetry & Song will be beautiful.

🌻There will also be an audience interaction Poetry Writing Exercise to write one big poem lead by Natalie Sanderson.

🌻Art work on display will be created by Ruby Khan's Art.

🌻A cake and tea Interval break with donations from this to go to the church - change is preferred.

It would be an absolute joy to have you attend.

I look forward to hopefully meeting you soon through Poetry & Song.

A special heartfelt 💜 Thank You to all Artists involved for donating their time, talent and energy.

🌻Link to event in bio.

With love and light

The life of a freelance musician is never dull but last week was particularly action-packed and full of fabulous people!

Thank you especially to @joann_m_hunter and @redfeld for the most amazing experience performing @jothemusical at the Theatre Royal last night, alongside my @vocalsunlimitedfilmchoir buddies. I’ll never forget it.
