// A good location can do a lot for a successful portrait series. These were all shot in and around Brooklyn’s historic Army Terminal — the backdrops, the textures, the angles were already there. My job was reading the space and the light just right, setting the scene, and letting the model shine. A true joy working with the incredible @_kevhwang // taken in Brooklyn Army Terminal by @michaelandrephoto

Usually I wait until the end of a trip to post some pictures I took. Not this time around as I am spending a very relaxed and unstructured week in Mexico City. Definitely a place to work on my street photography chops. Here are a bunch of images that capture the unique vibe of Mexico City’s Centro. They were all taken within just a few hours yesterday afternoon 🇲🇽

// i don’t often capture architecture specifically, but chicago hits different. and here my mind immediately goes to black and white photography. so mixing it up a bit with these images from my short visit to the windy city. //

// famed austrian novelist stefan zweig lived on salzburg’s kapuzinerberg from 1919 to 1934, before he left the country amidst growing political turmoil. just across his former home, this bronze bust commemorates his legacy.

hours after arriving in the city on my most recent trip, i met up with dancer @seraph_imon for a long walk, and an impromptu movement improvisation

if you are not familiar with stefan zweig’s work, i highly recommend his memoir ‘the world of yesterday’ taken in Salzburg, Austria by @michaelandrephoto
