Setting up for the @rockhousefoundation spring dinner @skylarknegril. Shot with a vintage Sony HandiCam and presented in an aspect ratio I’m currently obsessed with; 1.33:1 Academy Aperture. Yes, I am currently obsessed with a legacy aspect ratio. No, I’m not ashamed to admit it. We all have to live our truth in uncertain times. taken in Skylark Negril Beach Resort by @michaelcondran

For My Jamaican Table, photographer Michael Condran @michaelcondran traveled across Jamaica with New York-based Jamaican chef Andre Fowles to document the people, places, and flavors that shaped Andre’s culinary story. From beachside lobster shacks to the streets of Downtown Kingston, where Andre grew up, the project captures the beauty, culture, and everyday moments behind Andre's first cookbook with honesty and depth.

So proud to have shot this beautiful book. Incredible dinner @comperelapin on the My Jamaican Table book tour. @cheffowles @ninacompton and her team totally crushed it (I even forgive @nolarrymiller for not delivering on the corn dogs). And great to see @jasisters and @suziequrious in NOLA representing the land of wood and water! taken in Compere Lapin by @michaelcondran

Photographer Michael Condran @michaelcondran recently collaborated with Paris-based chef @ericaparedes for the launch of her new restaurant, @mischief.paris. Known for Reyna in the 11ème and now one of the city’s most in-demand tables, Erica wanted to move beyond the cliché of “chefs in whites.” A former fashion editor, she and Michael merged her past and present—juxtaposing the glamour of Paris dining with the grit of life behind the burners.

Special shoutout to my favorite tropical muses @sonjajohanssonnyc and @ailsaejones.
