A massive thank you to everyone who joined the Anti-ICE Supper Club in Denver last week!

it was a powerful and very fun two nights of community, friendship, and excellent food and drink. Most importantly, it was a celebration of Denver’s vital immigrant communities and a critical fundraiser for the heroic work of the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (@co_immigrant).

Our infinite thanks go to our remarkable partners who made this night possible: the great Molino Chido (@molino_chido) and its co-founders Michael Diaz de Leon (@michaeldleon) and Tommy Lee (@tommyminglee), alongside Condesa Gin (@condesagin), for their extraordinary generosity and hospitality.

And now, to the Rockies! We’re thrilled to announce that the Anti-ICE Supper Club is headed to Denver for two nights at the great Molino Chido (@molino_chido), where chef-owners Tommy Lee (@tommyminglee) and Michael Diaz de Leon (@michaeldleon) bring together their shared love of Mexico City street food and the craft of nixtamal.

On Monday, June 15, we kick things off with a night of delicious drinks, family-style passed food, and music—or as we’ve come to call it: a very good time for a very good cause.

The following evening, June 16, we shift to an intimate private tasting featuring a special menu with drink pairings by Chef Michael Diaz de Leon, a first-generation Mexican American raised in the border town of El Paso, Texas.

R&K Executive Editor Charly Wilder (@charly_wilder), is coming in from Berlin to co-host both nights, with net proceeds going to the Colorado Immigrant Rights Coalition (@co_immigrant), a statewide organization advocating for immigrants regardless of legal status.

In a city where immigration arrests have increased more than 200 percent during Trump’s second term, we’re proud to be raising money for one of our nation’s great immigrant advocacy organizations.

We are thrilled to welcome Chef Michael Diaz de Leon to the Peach Crease Club for an On The Record shift, highlighting how music influences the art that chefs, brewers, distillers, wine makers, and bartenders create.

Join us for a one of a kind night with Michael behind the decks spinning Vinyl, while we serve a limited menu of his food from the Peach Crease kitchen.

Music has always been a part of Michael’s life in the same way that food has always been. Music is in the kitchen, in the rhythm, and in the way he moves throughout the day. Music and food exist in the same reality: they feed people, set a tone, and create a feeling you can’t forget. DJing is just another extension of plating a birria taco or serving a Wild Common Margarita. At the end of the day, it’s the same intention, whether it’s a dish or a track. You’re creating a moment, changing someone’s mood, and maybe even their whole night.

Spoiler Alert 🚨 Hot Take

As many of you know, I had the absolute pleasure of being chosen to be a part of @americasculinarycupcbs , hosted and produced by @padmalakshmi . I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be on the first season of this show and to represent our community.

I’ve been cooking professionally for 15 years and have had some incredible experiences. The kitchen has given me family, structure, and an escape from whatever life throws my way. It’s given me my highest highs and my lowest lows—but above all, it’s given me a home.

It’s where I feel at peace, where I find my flow, where I create.

Competing on the show pushed me to be brave and vulnerable—to tell my story, step outside my comfort zone, and do something big and scary.

I would have loved to continue to compete but the universe knows what it’s doing. I’m proud I did it, and I’ll be forever grateful for the experience. I got to compete alongside chefs and humans I deeply respect and admire.

Through the ups and downs, I’ll keep moving forward on my culinary and spiritual journey.

In the meantime, come see us @molinochido—grab a taco, some wine, and a good time.
