Re-introduction time 👋

I picked up a camera for the first time at 26 years old.

I got a job as a Video Producer at one of the biggest sporting clubs in Australia without ever picking up a camera.

My story is… unconventional.

I was raw as. No education, no knowledge besides editing videos as a hobby.

But I was always curious.

And that was all I needed to quit my job in Architecture and chase my hobby as a career.

I wish I picked up a camera earlier, I wish I could’ve fast tracked what I’m doing now.

I always felt like I was in catch-up mode because I started late.

But weirdly, I think that helped me.

I started running my own Video Production business at 31 years old though, so perspective is everything.

I want to be industry leader in the Video Creator space, both in our business @twoxcreative and in the education space.

I want to help others become professional Video Creators by giving them the tools and knowledge I wish I had.

Ps. If you got to the bottom of this, ever tried filming an uncut piece to camera telling your story? Neither, this took me far too many attempts by @michaelfbarker

Did you know you can colour grade every instance of a clip at once in Premiere Pro? 🫢

What do I mean?

By default, Lumetri Color is set to ‘Clip’, so your grade only affects that one instance on your timeline.

Change it to ‘Source’ and your grade is applied to EVERY INSTANCE of that clip throughout your project. by @michaelfbarker

If your Premiere Pro footage looks different after you export it, check this setting 👇

Go to Lumetri Color → Settings → General, and make sure ‘Display Color Management’ is TICKED.

The frustrating part? Your colours can actually look better (brighter, more saturated) with it unticked.

But colour grading with it ticked is the safer approach. by @michaelfbarker
