“La armonía”

This drink is inspired by my time in Thailand last year where I was met with a melting pot of different cuisines from all over the world. As I wandered through the loud streets, car horns blaring relentlessly, sun beating down, the most unexpected of these dining experiences was sitting roadside on a bustling street in Bangkok.

I ordered a portion of Birria tacos and a spicy margarita. The tacos were rich and aromatic, and the margarita a perfect balance of citrus and spice. It dawned on me how well the flavour profiles harmonised
with one another. For a few minutes everything slowed down, sipping my margarita as the aroma of chilies, herbs and spices drifted into the air.

I knew i wanted to recreate this moment in a drinkable form, in order to share my love of creating drinks, and the joy that harmony can produce. by @michaelmck26
