Working on a project and got to the end of my thread- spooled on a vintage styrofoam spool. How bizarre.

I picked up a new group of donated antique bottles yesterday. I am building on my “Votive” series, pairing the bottles with natural objects and crocheting architectural tops. To me they are messages or prayers in a bottle. Thank you @lauriebogdan by @michellelougee

Join me at Snow Farm on October 1-4 for a sustainable fiber workshop! Challenge yourself to make meaning from discarded materials when excess is everywhere! Learn traditional and modern fiber art fabrication and assemblage techniques while working with post consumer materials and found objects. Explore methods for building with fabric and wire, basic soft sculpture techniques, and how to create fibrous material from discarded plastic packaging. Students will craft unique sculptural forms while experimenting with techniques. All levels welcome.

FATHER’S DAY IS COMING UP. 💙🏥👨‍👧‍👦✨

When was the last time you asked your father what he was feeling?

Dads often carry so much for us, sometimes leaving little room to process their own emotions. As the holiday approaches, we invite you to plan a visit and bring your dad, stepdad, or father figure to open doors, explore, connect, and share his stories with you.

For a limited time only, a real hospital in the heart of Los Angeles has been transformed into an immersive art experience exploring the full spectrum of human emotion.

Featuring 70 artists, more than 80 rooms, and 4 floors of emotional experiences, HOSPITAL OF EMOTIONS invites visitors to journey through love, joy, fear, sadness, hope, resilience, compassion, and everything in between.

Open through July 31, 2026.
