Peppermint and chocolate. Two of my favorite flavors during the Christmas and winter season. Combine the two in a protein shake and drink some holiday cheer ❤️

The perfect end of summer rom-com!

Trust me when I say YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!! It's sweet. It's romantic. It's funny and heartwarming. It has so many tropes I love: enemies-to-lovers, dual POV, fake dating, forced proximity, hilarious banter (I laughed out loud so many times!), vacation cruise, and a small town setting (one of my newest favorites).

The first chapter hooked me in, and the fast pace of the story kept me up at late at night for several nights. I would've read this in one setting if I could. Jack and Lauren's perspectives were wonderful throughout the whole story. Both of them felt human with flaws that got in the way of their relationship several times, while also making the story feel relatable. I loved how the story wrapped up at the end with both of them discovering new dreams and choosing to follow them.

If you're looking for a light, fun, clean romantic story, this one's for you!!!

The second book in this series was just announced and I can't wait to read it!!!

Thanks to the author for a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This year I've invested in my writing by enrolling in round 5 of Writing with the Soul Workshop. I had no idea at the time what kinds of doors would be available and open to me upon completing that workshop. I'm so very excited and grateful for this unique opportunity to learn more about queries so that I can hopefully be ready to query this fall.

🌟MY FAVORITE BOOKS OF 2022🌟
.
.
I didn't read as many books this year compared to prior years, but I did manage to discover my new favorite book of all time, Daughter of the Moon Goddess and the sequel, Heart of the Sun Warrior. It's a duology that I'll reread again and again. I also enjoyed The Dragon's Promise, the concluding sequel to Six Crimson Cranes. I didn't love it as much as the first book, but it was still a solid and satisfying sequel. The Blood Traitor is one of the best concluding books to a series I've ever read. I loved it so that as soon as I finished it, I flipped back to page 1 and read it again! And finally, for the first time ever, I dove into contemporary Christmas romance with the Christmas Escape series, and I had an absolute blast. There are 7 books total, and I read them all! Cotswolds Holiday and Host for the Holidays were my top two favorites.
.
.
How about you? Tell me your favorite book of this year.
.
⭐️⭐️Here's to 2023! Happy New Year!!!⭐️⭐️
