I feel so so blessed ❤️ Last week I went on a writing retreat with these amazing women. I’ve been a part of their group online for a few years now and I finally got to be with them in person. I feel like only God could have brought us all together. They are wise, funny and kind. I couldn’t ask for a better group of friends. I love you and miss you all! ❤️🐦‍⬛❤️ #writersofinstagram #writingretreat #georgia #summervibes

How to describe last week? Gathering in beautiful NW Missouri with my dearest writing friends. Friends I’ve been writing alongside (online) for a year and a half. Friends who inspire me and care for me and make me laugh. Friends who love Jesus.

Like most life-altering experiences, it’s hard to find words big enough, encompassing enough. Here’s my attempt: Joy. Growth. And most of all, PEACE. Peace at being in the same place for the first time. At being unhurried and surrounded by nature. The kind of peace that fills in and flows out. It comes with good food and hugs and plenty of laughter. Jesus is our peace, but these friends helped to usher it in, and I will forever be grateful.

Until next year, friends!

Thanks to @stjoestoryco for letting us take over your bookstore for a couple hours! AND for letting us adopt your name for our group! 🥰

And last but not least, thanks to @wwts.alumni for bringing us together during Round 5! 🖤

This is going to be the last question from the 25K Followers Q&A! Thanks to everyone who commented, and I hope the answers have been helpful and/or interesting!
.
Today's question is from @michellerae6: Can you give us an updated "a day in the life" post now that you have kids?
.
Answer: Ohmygosh, I'd COMPLETELY forgotten about the Day in the Life posts! For those of you who may not have followed my blog much, I used to do monthly posts where I would give breakdowns of everything I did that day - from writing, revising, and editing to marketing and promo tasks, and other business-related things. It's been AGES since I did one - but since you asked, sure! .
I'm having trouble with Wordpress right now, so instead of putting it up as a blog post, I'll do my Day in the Life in my IG story tomorrow. Stay tuned! .
