Meet Michelle 🤍

Michelle is a multi-passionate wellness practitioner, yoga teacher, and intuitive guide with a compassionate approach to holding space for others. Michelle blends an intuitive understanding of what each individual may need— helping people slow down mentally, reconnect with their bodies, and move through experiences in a way that feels more digestible both mentally and somatically.

Her work is rooted in self-awareness and nervous system support, with a focus on helping others truly feel what is coming up for them rather than rushing through it.

Michelle’s trainings and areas of study include:
• Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra Teacher
• Guided Female Somatic Body Meditations (Breast + Womb-Based Practices)
• Intuitive Tarot + Oracle Readings
• Astrology Interpretations
• Human Design Interpretations
• Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Organ Theory
• Cannabis Education
• Hypnotherapy (currently in training)

Michelle will be co-guiding the September Grundy Lake Backcountry Yin Yoga Retreat, offering restorative yoga practices and optional intuitive readings throughout the weekend.

I never used to practice restorative or yin yoga until I attended one of Michelle’s classes. Now, it’s a regular part of my practice (but typically only if led by Michelle)! She’s helped me feel more regulated, more rested, and most importantly more connected to myself 🤍 I want as many people as possible to be able to experience her magic, and am thrilled she said yes to join us this Fall 🙏🏻

GRUNDY LAKE BACKCOUNTRY YIN YOGA RETREAT 🧘‍♀️ ⛺️
🗓️ Sep 25–27, 2026

A slow weekend of backcountry canoe camping, yin yoga, yoga nidra, and astrology in Northern Ontario 💫

September is my personal favourite time to camp! The water has had all season to warm up, which makes it perfect for swimming 🏊‍♀️! The bugs are gone. The leaves are starting to change colour. It’s not too hot. Not too cold. The summer crowds are gone. If you haven’t backcountry camped before, there’s no better time to try than September 🙏🏻

What’s included:
• 2 nights backcountry camping in Grundy Lake Provincial Park
• Foundational flatwater canoe skills + camp set-up guidance
• 4 guided 60-min yoga sessions (2 Yin + 2 Yoga Nidra)
• Tarot & oracle card readings
• Optional human design + astrology readings
• Small group experience (max 6 participants + guides)

I received an invitation from @carolyn_creed to meet her & experience the energy of her horses.
I had no idea what I was wanting to bring forth into this experience, all I knew was that I was open & excited. I've always wanted to connect with horses in this way but never had the
Opportunity until now 💚

The process was not rushed, it was a slow burn from beginning to end.
Carolyn spoke about the beauty & energy of horses while we sat outside the gate in a very Calm setting. She guided me into a grounding meditation to begin before stepping inside the space & crossing that boundary between the horses & I.

There was one horse in particular that had her eye on me from the start, her name; "Skye"
There were 3 horses in total, as I was getting asked questions to go deeper into the session
I had not noticed there was a 3rd horse in the back eating hay, cue… " My Shadow "

The shadow part of my self I did not know was there & this horse representing that.
I walked around to see "my shadow" & felt nothing but giddy & giggles, this horse was not even the color I had thought it was, seeing your shadow in the light & facing it felt calm.

Fast forward & Skye had come over to me, pressing her nose on my face & chest, she would walk
All around me, press herself up against me & just stood there with me as I processed Step by step, question to question, feeling to feeling.

Throughout this whole process it was brought to my attention that I had not even touched/petted Skye once & my immediate response was that I respect other people & animal's boundaries, then she prompted the question:
"How much more of an invitation do you need? She was all over you" My Mind Blown...She was right

Horses will reveal to you what you do not see or feel, the unconscious hidden, it's the realm of the unspoken words. Your body sends unseen signals & the horses can emanate that, they see right through you.
Do you stay on the surface where you feel comfortable? Or ground in, sink deeper into the depths & feel at ease knowing you are held with grace?
