SOME EXCITING NEWS!!!

The young kid inside of me is going absolutely fucking bananas.

I’m incredibly proud to say that I’m now running the studio full-time. Yes, this is officially what I do for a living.

Despite the crazy hours I was already working in the studio, I was still doing work outside of it whilst building a long-term, sustainable business and providing for my family.

Throughout my music career, there have been several points where I almost took that leap of faith and I would have been able to work in the industry full-time. But life happens, circumstances evolve, and at those times, it simply wasn’t possible.

As I look back to 2020, when I began building this studio business professionally and providing mixing, mastering & educational services, I genuinely can’t believe how far it has come and the roller coaster I’ve been on.

There were plenty of distractions, shiny objects and seemingly more intriguing paths I could have taken. Nonetheless, I never compromised. I stuck to my guns, and I’m glad I did.

I always wanted to be in this for the long haul and to work in music until my dying days. Because of the path life has put me on, it now feels like I’ve built this business the right way and one that will allow me to remain in the industry for decades to come.

I want to thank every single person I’ve worked with and everyone who has trusted me with their music and to several peers for have helped me over the years!

This business was built boots on the ground, from scratch, one master at a time, one mix at a time, one session at a time and one video at a time.

Without your ongoing support and trust, you wouldn’t be reading this post today. I’m forever grateful to everyone who has helped me and trusted me along the way.

In my eyes, I’m only warming up.

I’m literally just fucking getting started.

I’ll have a video coming to YouTube soon, diving deeper into my entire journey through music, the last six years of building this studio business and everything currently on the horizon.

Using the BlackBox to isolate my low end.

Going for the filter section. 6db curve (take your pick)

Filtered up to the first octave of the Kick fundamental.
(140hz in this case) - dialled in saturation.

Alt tube and Density for further aggression depending the material.

Great also in production and mixing for kick/drum busses and bass lines.

I’s that time of the month again!

My next Monthly Group Mixdown Session is locked in for October 28th! 🎛️

These sessions are a great opportunity to get together with other producers, learn from one another, and take a deeper look into your music.

We’ll identify what’s working well in your production/mix, what might need some attention, and create more awareness around common pain points, with practical solutions to help you move forward.

The goal is simple: build confidence, strengthen your decision-making and become a better producer.

Black Noir and Mickey Nox’s Factory 19 are joining forces to create something we believe producers genuinely need.
A place to learn, A place to ask honest questions.
A place to meet other artists, exchange ideas, build relationships and move forward together.
Too often, producers make music alone, release it into the world, play a gig—and then disconnect from the very community that could help them grow. We want to change that.
The Producer Accelerator Workshop combines practical music production education with networking, open conversation and honest career guidance.
Across the evening, we’ll explore arrangement, structure, finishing music, mixing awareness and the creative decisions that can take a track from an unfinished idea to a confident final result.
We’ll also discuss navigating releases, labels, networking and how to create genuine momentum beyond the studio.
This is about more than making better music.
It’s about building confident producers, stronger networks and real careers through community and education.
