Three weeks ago! The first Mickey Makes workshop was such a blast, & I’m so grateful to @mayamooncollective for inviting me to host it at their cafe, to everyone who came out for the workshop & to @jainiewinter & @briannagrace444 for helping me run it all 🩵

Everyone got to handpick their components & left with a special handmade bolo tie that reflected their own spirit. We even wrote intentions down about how we want to feel when we wear it ✨

I’m so grateful that I get to do things like this, & I can’t wait for all that’s to come 🥰

When my stunning friend of 14 years asked me if I could make her something for her to wear during her Tuscan wedding celebration & then sent me a photo of this amazing suit, I said “DUH!” I asked if she’d be open to a bolo with the outfit & she loved the idea. I already had the red agate center piece & gold sunburst end tips. All I needed was a white cord because #wedding

We think it turned out pretty perfect, & it was so beautiful to be able to celebrate such an incredible couple’s love in such a beautiful place ❤️

One of my all-time favorite stones is Larimar (aka the Dolphin stone, Wonder Woman stone or Atlantis stone), so naturally this is one of my favorite necklaces I’ve ever made 🐬🌊🪸

I found the Larimar center stone at the Tucson Gem Show earlier this year & some carved shell beads from one of my favorite bead shops (also in Tucson!), & it makes me so so happy to see how often @carly_yourhomegirl wears it via this little insta world that many of us spend so much time in.

Getting to connect with people who find something of themselves in my art is really special for me, & I’m beyond grateful for every person who has ever supported or had a kind word to share. Somewhere along the way in my life, I convinced myself I wasn’t creative & wasn’t an artist, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I believe we’re all creative & we all have art in us that’s waiting to be made & shared with others who see us 🩵

Commissioned scorpion bolo for the show-stoppin’ @kittieunderthemoon 🦂🖤

I had so much fun with this one! When Rory asked me if I could make this scorpion pin into a bolo, I said “HECK YEAH!” 😍 I love when someone has a piece that they already love & want it made into a necklace or bolo tie that they can wear in a new way 🧚🏼‍♀️
