Hi friends! Since living in the van in San Francisco, my husband, Ivan, and I have found ourselves amongst many different homeless populations. Some more heartbreaking than others. As the temperatures have dropped, coming as low as 39 degrees at night time this week, we have needed to lend a helping hand but have had no more extra blankets to give! We are so fortunate to have a roof over our head and somewhere *warm enough* to sleep at night.

So we got to thinking. Walgreens, Target, and The Home Depot, all sell super affordable blankets between $5-$10 each. This week, we bought as many blankets as we could with the help of others in our community and brought them to people in the homeless community without shelters. We figured were not the only ones out there who care, and sometimes people don’t know how to help, but would like to. So! If you’d like to kick off your holiday season by helping those in need, we are accepting blanket donations via

With 7,754 homeless people in San Francisco, 4,397 of which with no shelter, any amount can help!

We will not be filming ourselves giving out the blankets. These people have a right to privacy, and we’re not doing this for a pat on the back. We are doing it to help people, and sharing it to show others how easy it is to get involved. We appreciate all of the help we can get to give back to our communities.

Thank you SO MUCH to those of your who already have gotten involved. We have raised enough money for more than an additional 90 BLANKETS!!
