Feeling super grateful to have had a chance to write for @thenewarabfeatures @thenewarab on the subject of period poverty in Gaza, as my research on the subject continues. Drawing on testimony from women across the enclave, this article gives an honest depiction of the daily struggle of life as a woman in conflict

I don’t see genres as boundaries; I see them as a palette 🎨

Despite Wednesdays loss, I’m so proud of England honestly! ⚽️

Sat down with @noctismag to talk about the raw realities behind ‘Saka (Lemme Know)’, navigating a male-dominated industry, and why code-switching between English, French, and Punjabi is simply the language of where I’m from.

Huge love to the team who brought this feature to life:

This week I had the honour of presenting my first independently authored research paper at the @brismes annual conference.

Titled ‘Preserving Safad From Diaspora Amidst Ethnic Cleansing and Settler Reconstruction,’ this paper has taken me on a journey of growth and learning that I hope will long continue as my research progresses.

I give my thanks to all of the academics from Gaza and beyond, whose research continues to inspire my work. And a special thanks to the Safadi diaspora, without whom my research would never be possible. They are a testament to the unbreaking and permanent history of Palestine that exists, always 🇵🇸 taken in SOAS University of London by @midnightadams
