PLEASE DON’T SCROLL PAST RIMA AND RAYAN. 💔

Rima and Rayan desperately need food, milk, medicine, and diapers. I’m doing everything I can, but I cannot provide all of their needs alone.

I have already lost one child, and I cannot bear the thought of losing another. 💔

Please don’t ignore this video. If you can help, even a small amount can make a real difference in my children’s lives.

Please stand with Rima and Rayan. Help them survive. 🙏❤️

Our families on the ground have a tough decision to make every month. Buying sanitary products for the women and the girls of the household that often costs 10 times more than the average prices, or putting some food on the table.

The International Day of the World’s Indigenous Women and Girls is coming up soon, and most of the world doesn’t think about the hard reality of living under constant fear, no clean water sources available, and no option to increase your fiber, carbohydrate and iron intake during your luteal phase. People are malnurished and devastated already, but not being able to give the care for yourself and your loved ones, leads to serious health issues.

Women and girls already struggle amidst the dire conditions they are forced to live under. They are missing their periods due to shock and high levels of stress. Not having any safety moving from one place to another and the next place being less and less accommodating every time would be reason enough alone to disrupt the natural cycle. They are living with no sense of home, no familiar objects, no comfort, and no privacy anywhere. Everything is temporary; only the struggle is constant.

Periods are already hard as it is for a lot of women who are cramping and working in conditions that make privacy and sanitation hard to manage during the bleeding days of the month, or even during the premenstrual phase, if they are dealing with Premenstrual Syndrome.

Imagine if you had to deal with these obstacles, the lack of a period, or the irregularity of it during times when it’s a struggle to even wash your teeth, buy some apples, or clean the apples you bought. Imagine if you had to choose between buying apples or buying period pads.

I don’t see genres as boundaries; I see them as a palette 🎨

Despite Wednesdays loss, I’m so proud of England honestly! ⚽️

Sat down with @noctismag to talk about the raw realities behind ‘Saka (Lemme Know)’, navigating a male-dominated industry, and why code-switching between English, French, and Punjabi is simply the language of where I’m from.

Huge love to the team who brought this feature to life:
