Let this want breathe.
Let it settle in the quiet places you never show.
If you feel that pull…don’t fight it.
Come rest in the dark with me.
I’ll hold the part of you that aches for something unholy and soft.
Stay as long as you need.
I’m right here in the quiet.

A pull that interrupts you.
A taste you never quite shake.
A mistake you crave again.

Thank you @foxwitchva for the tag. This is way out of my comfort zone, but it was fun even though I was hella nervous. I’m tagging @narratedbydajun @that.guy9912 @regina.kypriandes.author - let’s see what you got! #fyp #midnightmuse #voiceactor #growl #challenge by @midnightmusewhispers

To everyone told to “calm down”...
Trust me. If it were that easy, I would have years ago. 🖤 #fyp #midnightmuse #voiceactor #poetry #healing by @midnightmusewhispers

Put it in your mouth.
Suck it.
Swallow.
Spaghetti.
If you were thinking something else, we should be friends.

Ruthless Game is NOW LIVE on Kindle Unlimited download it here: https://geni.us/YZjcR0
Catch up with the Kings of Reina University series here: https://geni.us/RlsU0

BLURB:

The rugged, blue-eyed, easygoing hockey player was once the love of my life. Now all David Lawson wants is revenge.

Reina University’s star goalie thinks I betrayed him, when he’s the one who betrayed me—and destroyed my heart.

I’ve tried to move on. But Lawson’s determined to get me out of his system, one dark, depraved, intensely exhilarating act at a time. I can’t resist him, and not just because he’s threatening to expose secrets about my brother that could ruin his life.

Lawson’s not the boy I knew. Between his cruel touch that sets me on fire and moments of tenderness that crumble the walls around my heart, I no longer know which way is up.

All I know is I won’t go down without a fight. I’ll prove he’s wrong about me. About everything.

But even if Lawson realizes his mistake, it may be too late—because an enemy is waiting in the shadows, eager to destroy us both.
