A break from your regularly scheduled grind to make something infinitely more stressful and half as satisfying but with an overwhelming amount of whimsy The arm is EVA foam mounted on an old T-shirt and I only cried twice (2!) about it. I only sent one (1) Hail Mary to a high school teacher for advice (and didn’t follow it when I definitely should have) I also almost got flattered into the armed forces. Conventions are magical :) #fanexpocanada #buckybarnes #cosplay #wintersoldier #toronto taken in Metro Toronto Convention Centre by @mielli_honey

It’s been a few weeks since the toronto iteration of @_self_checkout_ and I cannot express how proud I am to be part of this project and how lucky I am to be connected creatively to these brilliant people. I learned so much from every step of this project. Every single workshop taught me more about the artist I want to be. I’m keeping so many wishes and gratitude for the support of @dancemakersto and as always, @gchuvalocentre The stars of the show are always the youth; @evs_silly and @liv.semande are going to blow us all away very soon. Keep an eye on them or you’ll miss it. Thank you to @jasmineliaw_ for capturing these moments with such grace and care And finally, thank you to the wonderful people I got to dance alongside. Every single moment made me feel uplifted and supported. You guys are eternally encouraging and hilarious in studio 🎭🎼🩰💙🧡 @chantellemostacho @audreyochi @lamont_anna_gne taken in George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre by @mielli_honey

only 2 more days! join us this Thursday at 8pm - tickets in our bio- we are so thrilled to introduce our next artist part of this special @profile iteration @mielli_honey - read more about him below : Rowan-Muriel O’Sullivan is a Black genderqueer trans man living, working, and learning in Toronto. Rowan-Muriel is a dancer, musician, and community worker in Toronto’s west end. He has worked with Dance Immersion, the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Center, and the TDSB to create and facilitate arts and social programming. He continues to be inspired by his mentors in Toronto's burlesque and drag communities and he draws on the creative spirit of artists before him such as Bill T. Jones and Cathrine Dunham.
