There’s only 38 days left in this election, ballots are about to drop next weekend and I’m spending all my weekends (and some weekday evenings) talking to voters about the stakes of this election!

Had a wonderful time with my friend and fellow @uniteddemclubsf board member @mikechen_sf knocking on doors and talking to voters in the Inner Richmond about why we need to send @scott_wiener to Congress and why Measures RTM and Prop H are must-pass measures to keep our public transit system afloat 🦒🚎🚇🚈🦒

As always, it’s a lot of hard work putting canvasses together and my appreciation to Olivia and everyone else from @teamwiener who has been making this fun and easy to just get going and get on the doors!

This week I was sworn in to be San Francisco Planning Commissioner alongside Lydia So (@sooolydia, who was reappointed!). Thank you to Mayor Daniel Lurie @danielluriesf and Deputy Chief Ned Segal @nedsegal for this opportunity, and to the Board of Supervisors for confirming me to thus position. Housing affordability is top of mind for me, but also revitalizing downtown, and improving life wherever we can.

Construction is underway for The Marvel in the Mission! Located at 16th and Mission right next to the BART station, this affordable housing will house 300+ families who are low-income or exiting homelessness. After years of delays, we are finally seeing construction take place.

@mikechen_sf, Director of the SF Democratic Party, wrote a resolution talking about the need for housing at all income levels in San Francisco.

SFDems Director @mikechen_sf & Member and @d2dems President @erickingsbury spent Sunday afternoon in Cow Hollow/Marina area doing our monthly community coffee, listening to neighbors discuss housing, how to be more involved, and other issues on their mind.

It was great seeing old friends, making new ones, and to be able to have conversations with people with different opinions.

As the statewide @cademocrats convention comes to San Francisco this weekend, we thought we’d take a moment to (re) introduce some of our elected members to all of you and give them a chance to share some of their favorite spots throughout San Francisco.
