POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This week I was sworn in to be San Francisco Planning Commissioner alongside Lydia So (@sooolydia, who was reappointed!). Thank you to Mayor Daniel Lurie @danielluriesf and Deputy Chief Ned Segal @nedsegal for this opportunity, and to the Board of Supervisors for confirming me to thus position. Housing affordability is top of mind for me, but also revitalizing downtown, and improving life wherever we can.

You can watch the Planning Commission on SFGovTV when it returns from recess in September.

We won! On Friday, the San Francisco Department of Elections shared the results of the March 5 election. With 23,566 votes, placing fifth, I have secured a seat on the San Francisco County Democratic Party Central Committee. My coalition of candidates, the Democrats for Change, won 18 out of 24 seats, securing a firm majority.

Thank you so much for your help, whether that was talking to voters (at their homes, on the phones, or by text), telling your friends, donating to my campaign, or hosting a house party. Everything helped.

Last weekend, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi invited first-time elected members of the DCCC to meet with her and tell her our stories. The Speaker exhorted us to make the San Francisco Democratic Party even better and stronger.

Our first meeting as elected party delegates is in the next 30 days, and I will work hard to help San Francisco achieve its fullest potential. We need a city that is affordable. We need a city that is safe. We need a city that delivers results.

The next election in November is around the corner. It's time to get to work.
