POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Wrapped📝

Still trying to wrap my head around everything we just shot.

We spent the last few weeks filming a documentary on wild horses — driving through Wyoming and Montana, sleeping weird hours, chasing light, and hearing stories that honestly changed how I see this whole situation.

What I thought would be another project turned into something way more personal. Watching how these animals live and how they’re being managed got under my skin in a way I didn’t expect. It’s messed up, and it’s mostly happening in silence.

Working with Meg Frederick, who’s been out there photographing and fighting for these horses for years, was wild in the best way. Her connection with them is real and has taught me so much about the dynamics and lives these wild horses go through on a daily basis.

I’m not the most organized guy — and this trip definitely tested me but I walked away better. As a filmmaker and a person. Thankful the opportunity to work as the DP + editor on this project , and even more excited to start cutting it together.

If you’ve been supporting or even just following along, thank you. We’ve got more to come.

If you’re down to help us keep going (post ain’t cheap), here’s the link:

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on for a while: the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation 2026 Gala Video & @nwparkinsons

This film is especially close to my heart because it gave me the opportunity to include my own grandparents while telling a story that reaches far beyond my family.

Through this project, I’ve learned so much about the challenges of living with Parkinson’s and the incredible work the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation is doing to support individuals and families affected by the disease. From community events and physical activity programs to educational resources, support groups, dedicated staff, board members, and conferences, the foundation continues to bring people together and provide hope in the face of a growing challenge.

My goal with this film was to capture the reality of living with Parkinson’s, recognize the strength of those navigating it every day, and highlight the ongoing need for community support, awareness, and funding.

As a filmmaker, projects like this remind me why I love what I do. Video has the power to tell meaningful stories, connect people, and bring attention to causes that truly matter.

I’m grateful to have played a part in sharing this story and hope it encourages more people to learn about Parkinson’s and support the incredible work being done by the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation.

Watch the film, learn more, and consider supporting their mission:
