What a beautiful 8th @pll Championship Week..

What strikes me the most, is how relentlessly creative and dedicated the front office continues to be. Nothing is good enough for them. They continue to raise the bar, and it’s my honor to help lead pro lacrosse into the future with them.

The inspiration for our work draws on many things- not letting each other down, creating a stage for the best lacrosse players in the world, and driving returns for our partners and fans. We don’t take your time investment lightly and have more energy and passion for this business than ever.

Are we perfect? Heck no, but we wake up every day, beating the alarm clock, trying to be.

Here’s to another season in the books, building with my brother, and all of you 👊 🧑‍🦲 💛 taken in New York City by @mikerabil

Life, work, and family all happening at once can feel overwhelming at times, especially as we move through our 40s. In those moments, I try to remember the people, experiences, and memories that still make me smile and never lose sight of where I came from.

Yesterday was one of those reminders.

We welcomed the 2026 @prolacrossehof class: four incredible men who helped shape this game and who I’ve been fortunate to learn from, build alongside, and call friends.

Days like this make you appreciate the journey, the relationships, and the impact that lasts far beyond the scoreboard.

Enjoy the journey. taken in Long Island, NY by @mikerabil

Our 4th Championship Series and the @wll @pll teams showed out. As I look at the gallery of expressions and fan/player sentiment, I just feel grateful to play a small part of building the professional version of Olympic lacrosse. All lacrosse is good lacrosse and we are going to keep building this thing until they kick us out!! taken in Washington D. C. by @mikerabil

“Over the last eight years, 40% of the players right now, inching towards 50% are full-time lacrosse. Whether that’s playing Box, PLL only, or playing both, having their own businesses that focus on growing the sport... I mean when we first started it was less than 10%.”

@pll CEO and Co-Founder @mikerabil on the growth and rise of lacrosse players becoming full-time athletes.

Progress isn’t measured by hype, it’s measured by pressure. When competition tightens, margins shrink, and every decision matters, you find out if what you’ve built can hold up. For Mike Rabil, growth in the Premier Lacrosse League means creating a product where parity is real and excellence is demanded every night.

Live from the Stars and Stripes Classic, Fran Racioppi sat down with Mike Rabil, co-founder and CEO of the PLL, to talk about how far the league has come and what comes next. They break down why tighter games and one-goal finishes are a sign of real progress, how raising the competitive floor forces the league to raise its standards, and why increased attention only increases the obligation to deliver. The conversation also touches on leadership under scrutiny, building something that lasts, and why pressure is proof you’re doing something right.

This episode is about earned momentum, accountability, and building a league that’s ready for the next level.

Watch, listen, or read our conversation from the Stars and Stripes Classic. Episode 184.
