It has been 4 months since my Father suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. Nothing in this world can prepare someone to experience this level of loss and heartbreak, and to say this has been a rough ride is an understatement. There’s so much I wish I could tell him about. So many moments I reach for my phone with stories I need to tell, advice I need to be given, and love I need that only a father can give.

Yet, through this, I can smile. I smile knowing my Dad would want me to. I smile knowing I can continue to experience life in honor of him. I smile knowing he sees me work every day to reach my full potential. I smile knowing I have an angel on my shoulder to guide me through it all. I can visit my best friend for her 30th birthday and see music I love, feeling his presence everywhere.

My father was such an amazing man. He was the most generous, thoughtful, hard working person I have ever known. His mission in life was to make sure those around him were taken care of, and he radiated a love so strong that it has been felt through generations. There was nothing he wouldn’t give to the people he loved, and that is how I learned to live my life.

I am who I am because of him, and I have been blessed with the experiences I have because of all he taught me. I miss him every day, and every day I do whatever I can to honor his life and mine.

PGDC Half Marathon round 2 and a PR baby!! 1:55:05 🏃‍♂️💨

Proud is an understatement for how I'm feeling right now. Even with some bum knees I managed to sub a 2 hour half marathon and cut 30 minutes from my time last year. Crazy what you can accomplish when you trust in yourself and stay the course! All that training paid off tenfold and I couldn't be happier 🙌🏻

A smile this big can only come from 2 things: a whole lotta love, or filthy bass music. Lucky for me, I was in the presence of both ✨

Words will never be able to explain just how special @wakaanfest was..my smile says it all. A weekend full of deep connection, vulnerability, and expanded consciousness. I have been given a deeper understanding of my true self and a greater appreciation for the soul ties I have with music and the beautiful people in my life. Wowowow - My love tank is overflowing. I cannot thank this universe enough for allowing me to share this life with such incredible people. My heart is full, my cheeks are sore, and all I can look forward to is reuniting under the same roof (or mansion tent) again.
