Earlier this year, i told myself it was the “Year of Karim”... I said it as a joke to myself earlier, but it became my motivation..

A promise to find the part of me i thought i lost
A promise to not be afraid of making mistakes
A Promise to learn, to forgive, to understand
A promise to be a light to my friends and family
A promise to myself to see what i was capable of

Throughout the year, there was a lot of stress, tears, late nights, terrible decisions, voices in my head, mistakes, fights, board exams, self doubt, and anxiety that took half the hair off the side and back of my head...

But i had crazy experiences, Made new friends, pushed myself out of my comfort zone, found new passions, made my relationships stronger, started trusting myself again..

2024 Is the year i found out what i could’ve been, what i could be if i got out my head..

And to all my friends and family, keep doing cool shit.
Keep being your truest self. Keep fighting. Because watching you is what pushed me

Honestly, i’ve barely figured anything out... But atleast this year was a start. I learned that the part of me i thought i lost was still there, i learned to trust myself, and i learned to not be afraid to move through life..

Thank you all for helping me, thanks for being a part of this journey. And i’m here if you need

Months of training, building mental & physical toughness, late night & early morning workouts… how could I not get teary eye’d more times than I’d like to admit running this one - in my fav city in the world with my bestie & a gorgeous sunrise🌞🤞🏽🔐

Here’s your reminder to Challenge yourself- just freaking go for it. Discomfort is my intention this year… growth happens THERE.

We added some knee braces this year, for style of course😉🤣 & yes Im still limping but dang we did it 🙌🏽

I lost 10 pounds in 3 days but I had the best time of my life with these people, I can’t wait for next year
