The Sunday of #MontereyCarWeek, some of us headed to @WeatherTechRaceway to burn some rubber during our #VelocityOnTrack event.

We had an incredible group of people and cars take to the track throughout the day, making for an unforgettable way to close out an unforgettable week. Many were even able to split their day between the track and the incredible @PebbleBeachConcours, making it one of the best Sundays imaginable.

We’ve got more exciting stuff in the works, so sign up for our emails at the link in our bio so you don’t miss any opportunity!

No words, just swipe and enjoy this historic masterpiece. Shot for RMsotheby’s.

A little about the car:

The 2004 Ferrari Enzo was already one of the defining hypercars of its era, but this example takes rarity to another level. Finished from new in Matte Nero Opaco, it is believed to be the only Enzo ordered from Ferrari in this matte black specification. Commissioned by a member of the Royal Family of Brunei, the car was completed in October 2004 and delivered to London with a Nero leather interior, Rosso gauges, and large-size seats.

Its history is just as impressive as its specification. In 2022, the Enzo underwent more than €110,000 in cosmetic restoration work at Carrozzeria Zanasi, including a complete repaint in its original Nero Opaco, and was also Ferrari Classiche Certified, retaining its original chassis, engine, gearbox, and bodywork. More recently, a new clutch, both fuel pumps, and additional servicing were completed by Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in 2024.

With only 5,763 km from new, exceptional provenance, factory matte-black specification, and documented restoration and certification, this is far from an ordinary Enzo. In a market where mileage, originality, and specification separate the very best examples, this one stands among the most distinctive Ferrari Enzos ever produced.

At the time of its release, the Jaguar E-Type was sought to be “the most beautiful car ever made” by Enzo Ferrari himself.

It’s still the most visually appealing jaguar in the jaguar family, and probably will be until they can figure out what they want to release next.

A historic icon that lives on through time 👏

The Ferrari 288 GTO is one of the most important and desirable supercars ever created. Introduced in 1984, it was developed as a homologation special for Group B racing, although the competition program never reached its full potential. Its aggressive bodywork was inspired by the 308 GTB, but nearly every panel was redesigned using lightweight materials such as Kevlar, fiberglass, and aluminum. Behind the driver sits a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing approximately 400 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. With a top speed of around 189 mph, the 288 GTO became the fastest production car of its era. It also laid the foundation for Ferrari’s future halo cars, including the legendary F40.

What makes the 288 GTO truly special is the way it combines raw performance with elegant, understated design. Unlike many modern hypercars, it does not rely on oversized wings or extreme aerodynamic styling to communicate its capability. The widened rear arches, deep front spoiler, quad exhaust tips, and distinctive side vents give it a purposeful appearance without losing the beauty of the original design. Ferrari produced only 272 examples, making it significantly rarer than many of the models that followed it. Today, the 288 GTO is celebrated not only for its value, but for its analog driving experience, motorsport engineering, and historical importance. It remains one of the purest expressions of Ferrari performance ever built. taken in Los Angeles, California by @mikeynoga

Made some friends🛩️

Probably the best option I like on Porsches is the color matched seatbelts like this GT3RS. This car definitely had a good life with the miles being up there. Driven no garaged, but looks stunning 👏 taken in Sacramento, California by @mikeynoga
