Four days in Malta. More events than I can actually remember. More stylish outfits than I could ever count.

Friends and family travelling from all over the world. And the hottest day of the year thrown in for good measure.

It was HOT. But nobody noticed. Nobody cared. Everyone just got on with exactly why we were all there. To celebrate these two.

Beaming faces everywhere I looked. People properly going for it. Dancing, partying, laughing, celebrating. Exactly how a wedding should feel.

After four days and that many events, it’s difficult to sum it all up in a few photographs. But hopefully these become part of the visual legacy of what was a pretty unforgettable few days in Malta.

4 days that felt bigger than just a wedding.
Family at the centre of everything, in every frame, in every moment.

It wasn’t just the big celebrations, it was the smaller, quieter parts that stayed with me. Parents adjusting details without being asked, friends stepping in instinctively, those looks that don’t need explaining. The kind of presence you only get when people are completely invested.

Across each event, you could feel something building. Not in a loud way, just a steady sense of meaning behind it all. Traditions carried with intention, moments shaped by the people around them, not just the timeline.

This is what lasts.
Not just how it looked, but what it holds.

The start of something new, grounded in everything that came before.

Blush roses, olive branches, and a desert view. 🌸

For Reshma & Pramit’s ceremony on the lawn at El Chorro Lodge, we designed an open mandap that let the desert landscape do some of the talking. A light wooden frame topped with a sheer ivory canopy kept the sightlines clear, so the olive trees, boxwood hedges, and mountain views behind it became part of the design.🤍

The florals climbed the corner posts in asymmetrical installations, gathering heavier at the top and spilling down to the stone platform. Pale pink roses, white hydrangea, and white stock carried the softness, while green button mums and olive greenery tied everything back to the garden around it. Cherry blossom branches reached out from the edges, carrying through a detail from their haldi.🌿

Our favorite part? Reshma and Pramit laughing through the rituals while family cheered beside them. That’s the ceremony we hoped to give them, one where they could be fully present for each other. Inquire with Kismet to start designing your ceremony.💫

Shaneel & Megha. And after years of planning, it’s finally here. It’s wedding week.

But before all of that, London.

A few hours just weeks before they became husband and wife. Their civil ceremony, the streets they know, a photo booth or two, 35mm in my pocket alongside the digital.

I love the idea that these photographs will become a time capsule for the future as to what engaged life was like.

Not photographs *for* the wedding, but an homage to everything just before it. Being engaged. The anticipation. That slightly surreal feeling of knowing something you’ve talked about for years is suddenly only weeks away.

And Shaneel & Megha absolutely brought it.

The energy, the style, the chemistry, the messing around. Nothing overly orchestrated, just two people completely comfortable with each other and a few hours to make something that feels like them.

Now we switch London for Malta.

Friends and family are flying in from all over the world, the temperature is rising, and years of ideas, conversations and planning are about to come to life.

I’ve seen what’s in store for their guests over the next few days. They haven’t.

This is going to be some wedding.

Five events. Three days. Many years in the making. One hell of a story.

Reshma & Akash met at school. Went to prom together. Grew up together. And years later, brought their closest friends and family from all over the world to Portugal to watch them begin the next chapter.

Every event planned to perfection by @rajandveronicaevents . Exquisitely styled, but always with the people at the centre of it all.

And somewhere amongst all of it, two childhood sweethearts getting married.

Some stories just have the perfect beginning.

Day 3 of 5. The Nikah — A ceremony unlike anything seen before.

A stage floating at the heart of still waters.
Boats fanned in perfect symmetry, each carrying guests towards the couple at the centre.
White parasols and floral pathways framing every view.

Day 3 of Naima and Vish’s wedding in Portugal was nothing less than extraordinary. The venue hosted something it had never attempted before. An entire ceremony designed on water, where every guest was part of the geometry. The effect was breathtaking, both in its originality and in the intimacy it created.

This vision was brought to life by @veil_veu, who transformed an idea into an experience, and @solardalevada_lagodoscisnes, whose florals framed the water in soft, sculptural beauty.

Naima and Vish chose outfits that mirrored the elegance of the setting. Beautiful, refined and perfectly understated for the moment. The simplicity of their style allowed the setting, the water, and the emotion of the ceremony to take centre stage, without losing an ounce of sophistication.

This was not just a ceremony. It was a statement of love, of heritage, and of the art of creating moments that could exist nowhere else.

Day 3. The Hindu wedding.

A mandap dripping in fresh florals.
A couture Sabyasachi lehenga catching the sunlight.
A colour explosion in the sky as vows were complete.

Tradition, beauty and scale — at their absolute height.

Day 3 of 5. The heart of the celebration.

The Hindu wedding brought together tradition, beauty and scale in a way only Naima and Vish could imagine. From the first sacred ritual to the final walk down the aisle, every moment carried weight, intention, tradition with style and class.

The mandap, created by @vilaverdeemflor, was a floral masterpiece, draped in fresh blooms and framed by white parasols, it felt like it belonged in the pages of a luxury editorial.

As the ceremony reached its peak, the sky erupted in a dramatic colour explosion, sending plumes of orange, pink and violet into the air — a breathtaking crescendo to a day already steeped in meaning.

This was the result of extraordinary vision and imagination from @veil_veu, bringing each element together so seamlessly that the day felt both effortless and unforgettable.

Naima wore a couture lehenga by @bridesofsabyasachi, its intricate embroidery and rich textures catching the light with every movement. Vish matched her elegance in a timeless ensemble by @bibiman__, both perfectly styled for the grandeur of the occasion.

Family and friends gathered close, offering blessings, sharing laughter and holding back tears. It was a ceremony that honoured heritage while feeling entirely of the moment.
