*Institute of Music & Fine Arts, University of Jammu* is immensely proud to share that our alumnus *Mr. Skarma Sonam Tashi BVA from IMFA ( Painting ) 2019 University of Jammu is the part of prestigious *61th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2026*.

Skarma’s work _ "Echoes of Home "exhibited at India Pavilion Arsenale explores and marks a significant moment for contemporary art .
The India Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale (2026), titled Geographies of Distance: Remembering Home, features five Indian artists located at the Arsenale venue. Curated by Dr. Amin Jaffer, the pavilion runs from May 9 to November 22, 2026, marking India's return.

From the classrooms of IMFA Jammu to the historic venues of Venice, Skarma’s journey embodies the vision we nurture – rooted in tradition of Ladakh , yet global in expression.
