FIVE PHOTOS:

If I wanted to dump pictures for a two week trip, I could have easily posted a hundred. But it feels right to be minimalistic this time.

1 - Okinawa Shoreline. Why go to Okinawa on the first Japan trip? So Martin could come home.

2 - Ni-juu go-sai - I celebrated my 25th birthday in Osaka. We went to a cat cafe, then I had a very special birthday surprise :)

3 - Minoh Falls Day Trip - I split off from the group to visit a secluded waterfall ravine. Then I climbed a sketchy trail to get a vista of the whole city.

4 - Teamlabs Borderless - Smoke and mirrors can be tacky, but in this case they broke down the borders between the individual and art.

5 - Fushimi Inari Shrine - Climbing up hundreds of steps and through hundreds of Torii gates to reach the summit. We left an offering of sake for the dieties of rice.
