This month has been a lot of confronting fears & continuing to take steps forward.

The fear of rejection & loss. A continued anxiety around losing friends that I care deeply.

The fear of rejection towards my sense of self. That inevitable judgment when I engage in my expression of self.

The fear of the unknown & tomorrow. That anxiety and uncertainty that exists in the current world ecosystem where employment is uncertain & there's no familial nor obvious mental support.

The fear of loneliness. Going to events & experiencing things that I used to experience with friends & people I cared about - but doing it by myself really doesn't hit the same.

I've started journaling a lot & I like to reflect on the lessons I've learned through the people I've talked to & my experiences. And candidly, this month was a weird challenge.

July has revolved around rejecting those fears & anxieties - and being bold. This month, through my experiences in ASGC & @proudasianmen, I've felt really strongly about wanting to put out more love into the world. I've felt really strongly about wanting to be more positive - and wanting to try to make a little bit of a difference where I can. Little by little, moment by moment, every little smile & laugh compounds - and it feels like the impact there is more meaningful than most of the things I've done in my life so far.

I'm a continued work in progress - but what I can take a lot of pride in is knowing that who I am today is leaps and bounds better than who I was yesterday. And who I will be tomorrow will be better than who I am today.

I really can't overstate the level of gratitude I have for everyone who's been a part of the journey recently. But I also really need to express my gratitude to the people who had to suffer through me depression. It truly does mean a lot - and even if not all of you are in my life anymore, I just want you to know that you really made a difference. ❤️

While 2025 was terrible in the beginning, I’m happy with how things ended for the year.

Cheers to 2026!

There are way too many people that have made the past quarter / the past year very special so I thank them all so so so much and some of the pics I wanna include I can’t fit them in insta’s square format.

But genuinely, I know that I always push myself to be working on stuff nonstop, even in the past year still working my internship, now joining a lab, leading a new club, getting back into gym workouts, learning new skills and tools, building projects, making my own content, learning and managing my finances, all while dealing with my regular responsibilities of classes, taking care of myself, and everything else.

These friends in these posts and many more are compatible with me and appreciate the effort I try to make to spend time and be with my friends who I love so much WHILE trying to make my ambitions come true and working on so many things to make my experience feel as fulfilling as possible.

Genuinely appreciate these people for being so good to me and for wanting to spend time with me even if sometimes I have to say no a lot because of my job, because of my work, whatever it is… I will keep working every day to keep making time to enjoy with my friends while also making my goals reality- because what’s the point of all that I do if I don’t have anyone to celebrate it with?

I really, sincerely am excited for 2025 and I am thrilled to have all my friends with me in it.

Day 3 in Iceland!

After a grueling two hour journey in a shuttle, the comrades in arms arrive in Þórsmörk. Interestingly enough, pronounced Thorsmork - also known as Thor's Valley. I wouldn't have known that - I booked it cause it was cheap.

We climbed up Valahnúkur Mountain & explored the Merkurrani Plateau! Miles met a Massachusetts man who was concerned about the impact of border control from San Diego. I got invited into someone's tent - but was too drunk to recognize I was getting hit on.

Fun fact, it was 35F at the top. I had regrets.
