If being a “good influencer” means selling you things I don’t use, oversharing my kids, not being present in my life for the sake of gathering content, and pretending I have all of my sh!t together….I’m happily a bad one✌🏼

and I’ll be damned if I raise men who don’t know how to change a tire, fix a fence, or troubleshoot a problem before deciding they need to hire a more capable man or woman to do it for them🪏🔨🧰

“Just” a day can be laundry piled in corners, dishes in the sink, grocery runs and clothes on the floor. OR it can be putting away groceries for the people you love, checking in on your husband while he works in the shop and noticing his cheeky lil eyebrow raise when he sees you. Taking care of your body, keeping a toddler entertained, dancing in the kitchen to be the silly mommy your son wants you to be. There was nothing particularly extraordinary about today BUT these days were once life I always wanted. 🤎

Proof of life 🍂🎃🧦🕯️
If there’s anything I’ve learned about myself over this past year of taking this account seriously and pouring so much of myself and my time into growing it, it’s that I can’t always operate at full capacity. Some weeks, the ideas are flowing, the inspiration is endless, and I’m excited to create. Other weeks, I need to step away from the screen, and take a much lower effort approach for the sake of my own sanity. Sometimes that looks like posting a bunch of photos that I think are pretty cool to a song I think is pretty cool, with no big message or strategy… taken in Cowichan Valley, British Columbia by @milfymillennial
