Saw this on a bridge and, apparently, needed the reminder.

Things take the time they take, don’t worry.

I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to know.

Know the answer.
Know the next move.
Know whether it’s a yes or a no.

Years ago, I hired @steph.trzaska thinking I needed help finding an answer about what came next professionally.

Instead, I learned that the question I was asking wasn’t necessarily the question I needed answered.

There was more underneath it.

More to understand about who I had become, what I wanted, and which beliefs I was still carrying simply because they had once worked for me.

I’ve been thinking about that experience again as I build Room for What’s Next.

Sometimes we don’t need to get to the answer faster.

Sometimes we need enough room to ask a better question.

That’s what Room is for.

Sometimes the thing you create is born from the season you never saw coming.

Motherhood changes women.

But too often, the workplace expects us to return unchanged.

I’m researching how motherhood and caregiving shape women’s experiences with work—including ambition, identity, achievement, engagement, support, and the things women may have been carrying quietly.

If you are a mother who has worked at any point since becoming a mother, I would be grateful for your perspective.
