A few more shots from Saturday’s trail run🙌🏼

First outing in my new Salomon Sense Ride trail running shoes. So comfortable, no blisters, and they were great on the varied terrain across the route!

Can’t wait to get back out on the trails and put some more miles into them 🏃🏽‍♀️⛰️

This walk feels much more rugged and remote than others on the list, with dramatic scenery the entire way. The route itself is more adventurous, with rocky paths and uneven terrain that keeps things interesting.

As you head into the valley, it opens up around you and genuinely feels hidden. It’s not the easiest on the list, but that’s part of the appeal 🤭

🥾 Difficulty: Easy
📏 Distance: 5.1 km

A great all-rounder with easy paths, varied terrain and plenty to keep dogs interested. The cave is the standout feature, giving dogs something completely different to explore, especially with the shallow water inside 💦

It can get busy around the cave itself, but the rest of the route is much quieter. With water access and a mix of scenery, it’s an easy walk that still feels interesting.

A really engaging route with a mix of woodland and open moorland, so there’s plenty of variety throughout. It’s well marked and easy to follow, but still feels adventurous with big views across the landscape.

There’s loads for dogs to explore, although expect a bit of mud in places, especially after rain 🤭

A completely different kind of walk, combining beach, forest and coastal views all in one. There’s loads of space for dogs to run, explore and properly stretch their legs, especially along the sand. The variety keeps it interesting the whole way through, and it’s one of the easier routes on our list.

This is just a train ride from London 😮

A really well set up walk with loads of flexibility depending on how far you want to go. Clear signage, easy access and a mix of terrain make it ideal for dog walkers, plus there are spots along the way where dogs can cool off. It’s one of those routes where everything just feels easy, right down to the dog friendly café at the end. Oh and you can get here by train in just 50 minutes from London!

Worth the early start? 🌅

📍Castleton, Mam Tor, and The Great Ridge Circular
🥾 Difficulty: Moderate
📏 Distance: 13 km

One of the most popular sunrise hikes in the UK… and it’s easy to see why. The climb up is steady but SO worth it, especially in the early hours, and once you’re up on the ridge, you get clear views across the valley as the light comes up 🌄

You’ll be surprised how many people are up there for it, but it still feels calm once you’re walking along the ridge. A proper start to the day, and a great one to do with your dog.
