🐉🥾 THE DRAGON’S BACK, PEAK DISTRICT 🇬🇧

Fancy walking along the spine of a sleeping dragon? 👀🔥

Near Buxton in the beautiful Peak District, the incredible Dragon’s Back is one of the most unique hikes in the UK! 🇬🇧

Made up of Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill, this dramatic limestone ridge looks like the spiky back of a giant dragon rising out of the rolling green countryside. 🏔️🐉

Expect steep climbs, rocky ridgelines, challenging scrambles and absolutely incredible views across the Staffordshire Peak District. This is one adventure that will get your heart pumping and leave you wanting more! 🤩

📍 Location: Dragon’s Back, near Buxton, Peak District
🥾 Distance: Approx. 4 miles circular
⏱️ Time: Allow 2–4 hours
📈 Difficulty: Challenging in places
🚗 Nearest postcode: SK17 0RH (Hollinsclough)

⚠️ Hiking tip: The ridge has steep drops, uneven limestone and exposed scrambling sections. It can become extremely slippery when wet, so wear proper hiking boots, check the weather and only attempt the ridge if you’re confident with the terrain.

🔥 Would you take on the Dragon’s Back, or is this one a NO from you? Let me know in the comments!👇🏼

There's something beautiful about watching the world slowly change. 🍂🍁

The days grow shorter, the air turns cooler, and the familiar greens of summer begin to give way to the golden yellows, burnt oranges and deep reds of autumn.

Nature never seems to resist change. It simply embraces each new season, reminding us that letting go can be just as beautiful as growing.

Maybe there's a lesson in that for all of us. That change isn't always something to fear, but something to appreciate. 🌿

Soon the woodland trails will be covered in colour, the leaves will crunch beneath our boots and the world will feel a little different again.

**But here's a thought…**

If nature teaches us that change is necessary, why do we sometimes find it so difficult to embrace in our own lives?

🍁 Are you someone who welcomes change, or do you find comfort in things staying the same?

I'd love to hear your thoughts below. 👇
