Busy Saturday for us today with a dog walk and a visit to the tulip field after. We enjoyed a picnic before heading home where I built my little one’s bookcase. Now it’s time to chill before we both decide 8pm is a great time to go to bed 🙌 by @millie.and.loki

I love that Millie keeps showing up for pictures 💜 I think she’s secretly enjoying being more involved too! What do you think?

We stopped in a wooded area for pictures today. Millie and Loki weren’t fully focused on me and I just couldn’t understand why. As I got up to leave, there were three big shapes blocking the path. I gasped before my brain could process. There were three sheep watching us, and they must have been edging closer the whole time. My gasp sent them fleeing into the trees, so now I’m just a little bit gutted I wasn’t calmer before my brain processed what my eyes were looking at.

🌈beautiful walk with Millie & Loki today.

Got their fleeces out this morning, and already had our first comment of the season about my dogs being bundled up.

This little guy was so excited to be back on our favourite walk today - with blue skies, a dash of heather, and a limitless supply of squirrels…well, who could blame him for losing his head.

One squirrel ran out between us and jumped/flew off a ledge 🙈 - wish I’d recorded it because my first thought to myself was ‘nobody’s gonna believe that.’ 😂

Millie ended up on lead for a bit while there was poo around for her to munch on. Loki ended up on lead because he vanished for a bit to chase some squirrels (thought I was going to have to get a search party together).

How has your Saturday walk gone?

Somebody reminded me today that she doesn’t like other dogs.

Loki loves other dogs btw.

Not the most affectionate of dudes, but he always knows when I need a fuss. Hopefully I get it right when he needs a fuss too 💜 by @millie.and.loki

This morning was a walk in the dark - I was trying to get ahead of a busy Saturday. Except we’re all suddenly feeling like we might be coming down with a cold, so what was going to be a busy day is now a stay home on the sofa day - which has given me a bit more time to look over and edit ‘older’ photos! Happy weekend, don’t forget to rest when your body begs you to.
