Dad it’s been a year without you 💔The most difficult year where I’ve met my broken self. This journey of grief as you well know isn’t easy. I just hold onto to the thought that somehow at this moment you are sitting here right beside me. Knowing how much I miss you! And if by any chance you are here watching over me I hope I’m making you proud!! I love you Dad and always will ❤️❤️❤️ by @milliemott

Before I turned 60 I talked to my Dad about our achievements and enjoyments in life. He asked what were my plans for the future? His advice was not to regret and waste it. You can do anything in life!! So I applied for my dream job. Passed the assessments & the interview.. A long process but I got offered the job! I downsized, put everything into storage. Took a deep breath. Left my old life behind to start a new!
Four weeks of intense training with amazing trainers. Overwhelming, exciting, stressful, studying, exams, tears and much laughter 😆Today with the best group of people & new friends for life we made it!!
Graduation Day!!! We earned our wings and I’m now officially Cabin Crew with easyJet!! 🧡✈️
What a journey it’s been!!! 🙏To my amazing Imo, Camden, family & friends for believing in me! To easyJet for allowing me to be part of your team in the skies!! And Dad the last words I said to you were…I’ve been offered a job as cabin crew!! I know today I’ve made you proud!!! ✈️🧡✈️🧡✈️ taken in London Gatwick, South Terminal by @milliemott

HAPPY NEW YEAR to my family and friends. 🥳🎉🥂And here I was ready for midnight with my Dad’s whiskey glass and miniature whiskey. Well Dad you obviously didn’t want me to drink it!! I tried everything to open the bottle and failed miserably!! 🎉🥳🥂💜 by @milliemott

A year ago today Dad! I can remember taking this like it was yesterday. You said to me there’s always a last we just don’t know when. It was your last 💔But as difficult as it is without you, we will keep your traditions, family, friends, whiskey flowing and most importantly your Mott sense of humour. ☃️🎄⛄️🎅🏻❤️ by @milliemott
