This week we're delighted to be joined by Natasha De Grundwald to talk about her 30 years in complementary and holistic health and her journey from Thai Yoga Massage teacher, to Bowen therapist, to author, coach, trainer, and podcaster. We also explore the idea of mixing therapies, helping clients to understand what they need as oppose to what they want, and the importance in investing in ourselves in order to help our businesses grow. What about you? Do you mix your therapies? Do you feel confident referring clients on to other therapists / health and wellbeing professionals? And finally, what are you investing in this year? Head on over to @fourtherapistsandachitchat and follow the link in the Bio to listen to this and all previous episodes - we’re available on all the main podcast platforms so don’t forget to like, follow and subscribe to make sure you keep up to date. And remember, if you'd like to be a guest speaker then just drop us a line! Love, as always, Sarah, Nicky, Millie and Amanda xxxx #holistictherapies #complementarytherapist #ilovereflexology #thaiyogamassage #bowentherapy #podcaster #thaiyogamassage @thaiyogamessage

Oh dear! Which member of the Four Therapists and a Chit Chat team forgot to post last weeks episode?!!! Sarah - that's who! Anyway, we're making up for it this week with a double whammy. In this episode we're taking a look at renting a treatment room and working from multiple treatment rooms - what are the advantages and disadvantages, what should you expect from renting a treatment room, is it possible to work from more than one venue, and (perhaps most importantly) the assumptions you shouldn't be making about renting a treatment room. Amanda has also got some exciting news for anyone in Essex looking to rent a treatment room! As always follow the link in our Bio to listen to all episodes on your favourite podcasting platform, send us your questions, and if you've got something you'd like to discuss or share with the 4T's team then let us know! Much love, Sarah, Nicky, Millie and Amanda Four Holistic and Complementary Therapists who love to chat! xxxx #essextherapist #holistictherapies #podcastingwomen #treatmentrooms #treatmentroom #podcastingwomen

So how are we feeling about so called ‘Freedom Day’? We spend 10 minutes talking about how we’ve approached it and our client reactions before moving onto pricing. Nicky talks through her current dilema about pricing and pricing structures, Sarah and Amanda share their experience on pricing and what they think clients are paying for, Millie talks about pricing and going mobile, and all of us have to apologise to Nicky for failing her on the technology front! This week we're talking about booking systems vs. paper diaries, cancellation policies and how we enforce them, and whether or not we take deposits. Millie gets confused about sausages, Amanda turns the tables on Sarah, and although Nicky is still obsessing about Stationary she persuades us all to give technology another chance when it comes to managing our appointments. As Reflexologists, Bowen therapists and Reiki practitioners we know how easy it is to feel alone when you're running your therapy business - this is our weekly pick-me up, an anecdote to the loneliness and the self-doubt, a chance to laugh at ourselves and to learn something new. Much love, Sarah, Nicky, Millie and Amanda. PS: Sorry this week’s episode is so late! What policies and procedures are you struggling with? Whether that’s writing them or implementing them, or even knowing which ones to have? In this weeks podcast we talk about why every complementary therapist should have a cancellation policy, the often overlooked issue of terms and conditions for treatment packages, the right to refuse to treat someone, and why it’s important to have a lone worker policy even if you’re not mobile. We’ve only just touched the tip of the iceberg in this weeks podcast so we’re going to share a list of what we think are the top 10 policies and procedures you need in your treatment room, and we’ll devote another podcast to this important topic in the next few months - so let us know if there are any particular ones you’re struggling with right now, or feel free to share your top policy and procedure tips. Follow the link in the Bio to listen whenever you’re ready, and: Don’t forget to let us know any burning topics or questions you’d like us to chat about Tag a friend you think would enjoy the podcast and we’ll give you a shout out next week Lots of love, Sarah, Nicky, Millie and Amanda xx PS: As members of professional bodies like The Federation of Holistic Therapists and The Association of Reflexologists we always recommend you check out some of the amazing resources they provide on key policies and procedures ❤️ #cancellationpolicy #complementarytherapist #ilovereflexology #bowentechnique #holistictherapist #podcastfortherapists #federationofholistictherapists
