A letter to my Kings 🤎 My mommy shared with me some weeks ago, that she didn't really realize how much daddy did for her and our home. Daddy was a King and made sure her coffee was made every morning as he started up her car and checked in on her very consistently … but there was soooo much more daddy did every single day, errands, bills and workloads that he just did, whether he got praised and thanked for or not ... Here is my note filled with love for you my Kings. Understand that I SEE YOU! King I see you trying! I see you holding up the weight of the world, when at times it feels like you are holding it up alone. King I need you to know that I value you and I appreciate you. I appreciate you for being the leader of the household making sure your babies are fed, the bills are paid. I see you protecting your home with your own life. King I see you picking up your kids from school ... you may have a million thoughts and worries in that moment, but still have that handsome smile and open ears to the stories happening at school. King forgive me if I have ever hurt you, disrespected you, taken you for granted or made you feel less of, when you are everything to me! King, I see how they belittle you, target you, make fun of you and kill you … King I promise you I do whatever I can to protect YOU too! King I respect YOU! King I need you to know that you are BEAUTIFUL. King I value you! King I see you trying to do it all, let me be of service to you! King, that melanin isn't by accident, its what makes you perfect in my eyes, my heart, my spirit and my soul. 🤍 In case no one has told you, that they LOVE YOU today, permission to be the one to do so? I love YOU 🩵 I felt the need to start with the LOVE mooshy moosh first this time, just because … I am going to end this post with LOVE; I am in the mood for a love sandwich. Not sure why I am explaining myself, take this LOVE and shoosh it 😁 This is only the 729055241 time I am planing on and letting the world know that you’ll be seeing more of me in front of the lense. Honestly, my only excuse is my passion behind it! … but but but, here goes another, but different shot at this ‘more visible’ thingy and if you must know I have stopped the hiding behind the lense about a month ago by intentionally introducing myself to anyone I shoot and and and I even ask people to introduce me to certain people instead of hiding behind the editing cocoon which I love very much, so … there’s that … as you can see I am actually tackling this visible thing a little different. You know what else I have been doing? Saying “yes” to almost everything coming my way. So when THEE gorgeous, ambitious, highly talented and multi dimensional @nickirouge asks me to interview her for a podcast segment of course I was saying “yes” before my fears had a chance to intervene with my response! I shall cut to the point, ask me and I’ll say “yes” … My PULL UP Game STRONG! 📍WHATS MY NAME I had a MAJOR meeting this week … a meeting that will definitely most positively one hundred percent-ly change not just my life, but anyone connected to me … I will elaborate when I sign my name on the dotted line. Soooooo … I woke up this early morning on this fantabulouz Friday completely overwhelmed and not sure where to start. I took another nap, well because … how am I suppose to do ALL of that when my head is full of productions. Took a shower, to go over my edits, and then God told me to shut my mouth/brain! He asked me: “when was the last time you reminded people who you are and what you do?” … eh … aight my G, I hear you. I am aware that my blessings grow in my obedience … and HE is RIGHT (duuuuhhhhh of course HE is!). Here I am flashing it back on this flashback Friday to the 95th @budbillikenparade. I see now, why HE asked me to post myself first because, well … I am built different. My work ethic is like the 1%. My passion is elite. My eye is like no one else. My ambition is pure. My calling is understood. And my purpose is to produce on a high level! I am guilty of forgetting that sometimes. I appreciate my tribe for trusting me with their businesses and brands. I would never take that for granted!
