POSTS STORIES REELS

The greatest feint game of all time @yoelromeromma. So many idiots in combat sports, coaches and fighters had no clue what they were watching during the greatest mma fight of all time @yoelromeromma vs @stylebender . Obviously the commentators and fans are as dumb as a bag of rocks but the coaches and fighters, come on man, do better.

Yes Holyfield @rhythmstep twice in this sequence and many more times in his career. More importantly, no one in Tyson’s corner had language for that, let alone built a scouting report that could help Mike manipulate Holyfield’s @rhythmstep, so it’s a mute point to this study. This fight took place in 1996 and I have introduced the @rhythmstep theoretically after my own study, research, analysis and data collection to the Combat Sports community the past few years. Even that has come with much resistance due to the archaic nature regarding development of Combat Sports. I’ve digressed, this is my favorite sequence in boxing history. Holyfield simply did not idol worship Mike Tyson in his scouting report. He found a way to limit Tyson’s punch account, also known as ball denial, prevent defense and my favorite, Defense numero uno, your opponent is not allowed to strike.

Shit! My bad! I forgot to talk about punches and or strikes. That’s important for your entertainment. This is very boring and not sexy in development. Anyway here is a video of two high level fighters that you can’t beat and your coach can’t build a winning plan for in smart positions during a 12 round fight that went the distance.

GO SOMEWHERE.

Finish in fighting stance. Be ready to work.

My original GO Step teaching is now connected to an interactive 3D trainer. Choose your stance and direction. Study the movement, practise one detail, then bring that question back.

Available through AMSB Gym Online on Patreon. Link in bio.

Everybody was watching the head movement. I was watching the feet.

LOCCHE is now on Patreon. 🥊

Two complete steps around. One backward. Then keep the base underneath what comes next.

18 years of my work at A Million Styles Boxing. Another part of the system you can now study and practise with me:

• Original teaching, chapters and searchable supplied transcripts.
• 3D Body, Feet and Path views, both stances and directions.
• Solo, Partner and Class.
• Step-and-jab teaching examples, including stop, one–two and return.
• Transitions, free practice and the original 30-round programme.
• Assigned film-study references, saved studies, notes and work recovery.

Start with my lesson. Pick one detail. Practise it. Return to the original and look again.

If you’ve been away, come see what we’re building alongside Walking, Around the Ring and Rhythm Step.

Cinematic camera views use the trainer’s character models and retained movement. Teaching examples are constructed learning references; the original films remain the teaching source. Trainer screens are edited holds of actual current UI captures, rather than a continuous interaction recording.

Cinematic sequences rendered from the game’s character models and approved movement. Gameplay preview uses scripted inputs; its HUD follows the recorded game state.
The gameplay preview is a separate scripted bout, edited into the film.

WALKING IS LIVE ON PATREON. 🥊

18 years of work. Now I can put this part of my system in your hands in a new way.

“Jab and step together.” Watch the detail in this video. Then imagine being able to change your angle, slow the movement down, go back to my explanation and take it into your own practice.

That’s what the official AMSB Walking Trainer is built for.

• Study my original tutorials and film studies.
• Explore the 3D movement from different angles and at different speeds.
• Work on transitions and practise with my recorded movement calls.
• Run programmes with adjustable rounds and rest, and save studies and notes to revisit.

Footwork comes first at AMSB. Walking is the first of eight planned base trainers. We’ll keep building from here, with more trainers and more Games the programmes built from these bases.

Walking is included in the $100/month AMSB Gym Online Patreon membership. Current eligible members: no extra purchase. Sign in with your Patreon account and start studying.

Been away? I’d love to have you back for this next chapter.

Floyd Mayweather not special, not gifted. He simply had the humility to make decisions during competition that other people won’t make. If he needed space he went out and acquired it. If he needed time, he went out and acquired it if he needed to defend himself, he made a defensive effort. Contrary popular belief that’s not speed, it’s not talent, it’s not a gift, it’s not strength, it’s humility. Something a lot of people don’t have in development and during competition. by @millionstylesboxing

Major allegations coming out of the world of combat sports. Professional fighter alleges that professional fighters should spend time working on their footwork and their IQ with their footwork decisions. In my opinion, it’s a bit unreasonable. Where do you find time to train footwork consistently when you have to do combo training, open sparring, S&C etc. It’s actually Ok to skip the footwork training and focus on offense and explosiveness by @millionstylesboxing
