Hi, I’m Janelle, the founder, curator, and storyteller of Millstream Home.
As a first-generation non-Amish woman, I created
Millstream Home to honor my Amish heritage
in a modern way. Though raised outside the
community, I carry forward the traditions
and values of my family’s past.
After spending fifteen years raising our five
children, my love of home, heritage, and
family naturally evolved into Millstream
Home.I’ve become an advocate for heritage
craftsmanship, American-made manufacturing,
and women-led business.
Welcome to Millstream Home,
I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

This broom is still crafted by hand, one at a time, by an American maker who has spent decades perfecting his craft. It is just one of many pieces in our new Americana Collection—a celebration of American craftsmanship, timeless design, and the people who continue to keep these traditions alive.

Today, we’re celebrating the launch of the collection with 20% off online and in our Lancaster County shop.
Thank you for choosing handmade. Thank you for supporting American makers.
Happy Independence Day. 🇺🇸

In today’s modern world, where everything is rushed and mass-produced, our workshops remain quiet, focused, and dedicated to the slow art of making things last. You can feel the hands that shaped every Millstream Home piece. That is the beauty of handmade. ⚒️🇺🇸
