These are the facts:

IsraHELL has ALWAYS weaponised administrative detention. It is the BACKBONE of their BRUTAL occupation of historical Palestine.

Since 1967, they have abducted over 1 MILLION Palestinians, including on average 2 Palestinian CHILDREN, every day, for 6 DECADES straight.

1 in 5 Palestinian women, 1 in 5 Palestinian CHILDREN and 2 in 5 Palestinian men are abducted by the ITF at some point during their lives under Israeli occupation.

Most are held indefinitely, without evidence, charge or trial.

They suffer the most horrific, unspeakable abuse at the hands of the ITF.

October 6th 2023, IsraHELL already held over 5000 Palestinians hostage, including HUNDREDS of CHILDREN.

The only way to get them out?
A prison break (highly unlikely) or a hostage swap.

Today, Hummus holds ZERO Israeli hostages.
Yet IsraHELL still holds over 10,000 Palestinians hostage in torture camps and prisons - including Doctors, nurses, paramedics, academics, journalists and HUNDREDS of CHILDREN.

The occupation also still holds the bodies of 1700+ more Palestinians killed in Israeli "custody", some withheld from their families for DECADES.

Dr Hussam Abu Safiya has now been held in Israeli torture camps and prisons without charge for 660 days and nights.

He has been relentlessly tortured and is suffering the most horrific abuse at the hands of the ITF.

This photo takes me back to a time when I had a job, an income, and dreams for my future. I worked in an electronic embroidery factory and was building a life I was proud of. 💔

Today, after three years of war, I have lost my father, my mother, my three brothers, my home, and my source of income. Everything I worked for is gone, and the life I once knew feels like a distant memory.

I miss those days. I miss the person I was before losing everything. Now, I am trying to survive and rebuild my life from zero, alone in Gaza.

FROM AROUND THE WORLD, FOR PALESTINE.

These are just some of the many faces, communities and actions that made up the Global Day of Action for Palestine.

Across 60 countries and territories, more than 325 mapped actions took place, alongside hundreds more organised independently. Millions marched, gathered, learned, mourned, created and organised. From mass demonstrations and rallies to vigils, teach-ins, cultural events and small community gatherings, solidarity took different forms in different places.

The scale was extraordinary. But the work cannot be measured by numbers alone.

We continue to show up, inspired by the resilience and resistance of the Palestinian people. The movement continues because their struggle continues.

As GAFP Steering Committee member Professor Yanis Varoufakis reminded the London mobilisation: “Now is not the time to feel the fatigue. Now is the time to do more. To do better.”

The task now is to carry this energy forward, deepen coordination and turn global solidarity into sustained political pressure and material change.

And to every organisation, movement, activist, volunteer and community that organised, mobilised, translated, designed, marched, taught, spoke, shared, documented and kept showing up for Palestine: thank you. None of this happens without the countless hours of work, care and commitment taking place behind the scenes and on the streets.

The Global Day of Action may be over, but the organising is not.

More coordination. More pressure. More action. Until Palestine is free.
