I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the last four days at the Women in Automotive Conference in Austin, Texas. I just kept hoping I’d find exactly what my heart needed… and somehow, it gave me so much more.Reconnecting with old friends and colleagues was wonderful, but it was the new friendships, heartfelt conversations, and incredible women I had the privilege of meeting that truly filled my cup. Sometimes life has a way of putting you exactly where you’re meant to be, surrounded by people who remind you of your purpose, your strength, and everything you’re capable of.To every amazing woman who shared your story, your wisdom, and your heart, thank you. You reminded this automotive chick that there are no limits to what we can accomplish when we believe in ourselves and lift each other up.And to the incredible men who showed up to support, encourage, and champion the women in this industry, thank you. Your presence and partnership matter more than you know.Finally, thank you to Women In Automotive for creating a space where connections become friendships, inspiration becomes action, and together we continue making our industry stronger. It’s so crazy to me that sixteen years ago you walked into my family’s life, and somehow so much has changed while so much has stayed exactly the same. Never in a million years did I think we’d be getting married.I still remember three years ago when you invited me to visit you in Asheville, and I jokingly said, “Well, you are family… let’s see if it becomes official.” And here we are. ❤️Thank you for all that you do for us and for our families. Thank you for putting up with all of my crazy adventures and always coming along for the ride. Thank you for always doing the little things that somehow add up to the biggest things ever.It’s an honor to be your wife and such a blessing to get to do life alongside you.
