In celebration of our first year of programming, Mind Cargo presents an expansive evening gathering with close friends and collaborators devoted to the elastic, off-kilter, and tripped. A two-room function that melds the meditative and the percussive into a sum greater than its parts.  In room one - a slow-burning, hypnotic experiment in the rhythmic, led by @gi____gi_____ @lucygoodman4 @baroque_hoe @fleet.dreams @freeimageuploader and @dominiquemarchini - melding driving, psychedelic arrangements with the sparse and sensual, and stretching deep into the night.   In room two, @katestein.xyz and @murraycarole will present a long-form exploration of pure ambient experimentalism - a dive into the chasm of the possible, what can and what should be.   Design @an.ja406 Tickets in bio by @mind.cargo

Arriving from Atlanta and members of @bloom__atl, @g.mrosek & @titomazzetta share a truly unique bond. Their language is rooted in polyrhythmic curiosity where the stranger margins of house, electro and techno find unexpected harmony. Expect dirty basslines, mischievous arrangments, and overall, a view of club music that prizes eccentricity over convention. Mind Cargo is proud to welcome the pair for a three-part New York excursion. Pop out loves ❀ Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

A double feature! @emsho.music & @mysecretgrapes approach the room from distinct but sympathetic angles. Secret Grapes plays with loose intuition - drawing unlikely sounds into buoyant conversation, while Emsho operates via a more physical language of percussion, pace and instinct. Their meeting is a natural exchange - two sensibilities that follow curiosity wherever it leads ᥫ᭡.ִֶָ𓂃 Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

Mind Cargo and Downbeat Detection present a full day of programming @silenceplease Boundless experimental sonics from London’s Softi drift into familiar territory alongside New York’s 320 and Plushie - a convergence of three selectors operating somewhere between the club and its outer limits. @__softiii works in porous forms: dub pressure, filtered percussion, and uncommon rhythmic geometries dissolving into one another. Her warm and evocative selections sometimes feel like live metabolism - slipping between organic motion and dissolution. @childhoodceiling curates beloved local experimental club nights under the Ballet banner. As a DJ, he brings mystical dub architectures scaffolded by excursions into deep tek ambiance, with a proclivity for the kinetic and resonant yet introspective. @dominiquemarchini moves through shifting textures, rhythms and tonalities, with a curiosity that often supersedes genre. Navigating deep cuts of soft-footed leftfield interspersed with heavy dub murk, emerging and disappearing in seamless succession. Together, expect the three to trace a loose cartography of the contemporary landscape of inward-looking electronica, untethered from easy classification. Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

@carpet.flhp inhabits the unstable territory between private sonic ritual and music built to move bodies. Equally at home dissolving a room into deep listening suspension or pulling it toward the gravitational insistence of the club, she moves through strange continuums: narcotic ambience, corroded electronics and sharp velocity that gradually bleed into dubbed-out rhythms, crooked percussion and heavier pressure. We welcome her mess. Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

Mind Cargo 017 The don of nocturnal electronics @bvdhai makes a rare weekend appearance on his home turf. Extra Meesh - a true dub and deep club cut enthusiast - operates the long running wax-only residency @whereisthetaxi Yes, that’s 88 weeks in a row by 5 hours a night. You do the math. Mind Cargo 016 It was about time that the Italian maestro - @samuel.pojer - brought his sultry and slowly evolving enchanters to our space. Often found on the headiest of lineups, Sam navigates the elastic margins of progressive rhythms - where hypnosis and psychosis are common, as are the sudden jolts gained from sharp texture and vocals emerging from beneath the surface. Follow the red light. Come get trapped. Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

Mind Cargo 015 We welcome @anno_._l for an extended journey through the outer edges of electronic music. Well known for his highly exploratory and experimental label - anno - Hank Jackson composes environments of suspended momentum, where porous techno, mineral dub and asymmetrical rhythm are folded into a single, slowly mutating terrain. Come expecting a set that resists linearity, but instead favors osmotic transitions that dissolve before you comprehend what’s in your ear. Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

Mind Cargo 014 @xox.naja is a New York-based strategist, producer, and music supervisor in the design, fashion, and hospitality industries. This set represents a rare opportunity to play music near and dear, with an emphasis on abrasive textures and rhythms that swing—dubby, industrial, dark—with perverse detours into pure pop and melody. “Most of my DJ sets these days are dictated by the people I’m DJing with and the places I’m playing. This is stuff I play on my own time.” Much like the sum of his professional work, the music will be chimeric, a little unpredictable and come at you with 100% feeling. Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo

Mind Cargo 013 @estrogirls - best known for her propulsive, unpredictable and deeply intentional sets - takes us on an extended journey likely to touch the inflection point of nostalgic and modernistic. Brandished and sharpened in New York’s best clubs, this is a style uniquely her own - continually expanding and shifting, but always with a reverence for the history of dance music. A night where jacking is highly encouraged! Design @an.ja406 by @mind.cargo
