When I first started creating content, iI didn’t know that along the way, the line between living life and monetizing life completely disappeared. You stop viewing your life as a series of moments and start viewing it as raw inventory. And the psychological price tag is way higher than anyone warns you about: 📌 Constant Hyper-Vigilance: Over 70% of creators report burnout because their brain never fully turns off from “content mode. 📌 The 10% Reality: Fewer than 10% of creators ever make a sustainable, liveable wage from platform payouts alone—keeping 90% stuck in a constant, high-stress hustle for brand deals just to stay afloat. 📌 The Algorithm Prison: Over 85% of creators experience severe algorithm anxiety because an invisible code change can wipe out your reach and income overnight with zero explanation. 📌 The Niche Trap: Over 65% of creators report feeling trapped in their own content, knowing that if they evolve, express a new interest, or change their style, the algorithm—and their audience—will actively punish them for it. You start living life in reverse—packaging real moments for strangers instead of actually living them. I love what I do and the community we’ve built. But pretending this treadmill doesn’t take a psychological toll is dangerous.
