✨️HOW TO BUILD A COMMUNITY✨️ *CONTROVERSIAL*

pay people for their love. I did, you can too!🥰😍💕🩷💜❤️🤭💌💋🎀😁

no but really👇🏽

✅️ get it out of your head, your irl friends won't help.😭

that's so sytherin-coded, but so many creators talk about how their 'friends' don't interact with them knowing they want to get bigger or after they receive success.

Let me know whether you think its wrong or right (i think it's... questionable to say the least), but regardless, they're not gonna stop.

UNFOLLOW them and focus on the people who won't make you feel like you're talking to yourself on SOCIAL media where you're making videos to REACH PEOPLE.

If they're really worth keeping as a friend, focus on connecting with them more irl.

✅️ make other people's business your business.🤷🏽‍♀️

Don't be scared to reply to stories even if it's just with emojis or reply to strangers' comments under a post!

You shouldn't feel afraid to be social on social media, and anybody who makes you feel that way has lost the plot😭

✅️ include your audience.🥰

In this post, I'm showing publicly accessible proof of my community to back up my advice.

Some of these comments are about me and the way I treat people, some are about my work, some are ‼️inside jokes‼️

The algo is pushing you away from your followers, so if you want to build up and keep your community, bring them back to you with reels, posts, lives, and stories that involves them online and irl

I know what I'm saying is easier said than done, but I hope it helps for those who may be feeling really lonely on here 🩷

here's what matters now for creators cuz the IG shifts DAILY👇🏽

save this for when you have a bad day on IG and need a reality check 💋

this may sound hypocritical but 👇

Don't listen to ugc coaches and faceless accounts without looking at 3 things:

🎀 THEIR credibility 🎀

No [lamp] shade but in MY experience, a lot of gurus, ugc coaches, and faceless accounts are untrustworthy because they regurgitate what people are already saying and don't elaborate because they can't.

For some, if your strengths don't lie in education, i.e. THEIR type of content, they can't help you and keep their advice VAGUE and GOOGLE-ABLE

Their basic advice inherently grows their following because they're talking about growing. They use that to deceive people and make money trying to sell products and illusions.

I found out through @ugc.estheruk some ugc girlies lie about their earnings, process, and even how long they've to been doing ugc to garner credibility which is a summer bummer :( but tells you something

🎀 THEIR demographics 🎀

sometimes you cant listen to people who dont look like you because IG is still a really subjective platform where looks and aesthetics matter sometimes more than they should, so if you don't look like the people giving advice, you may not get the same results with the same strategy.

🎀 YOUR strengths 🎀

if you're just following others with no variation to tell people who you are, you're gonna slowly LOSE YOUR IDENTITY which make things harder for you. It's like how writers get blocked after using chatgpt a lot.

NOW...

I don't want to just disparage whole careers, say IGNORE ALL THESE PPL, and move on😭, so if you want ppl to listen to for grounded advice, I recommend

social media strategy/branding:
@inspiredmediaco
@jeffisesele

ugc help:
@tran.ugc
@mindfulugc (marketing mondays are so helpful)

I hope everything works out for you, don't take these algo and feature shifts to heart💋!

If you feel LOST on IG nowadays ^^

I don't know if it's clear but I'm "a lot of creators"💀💀

Some creators who have helped me the last couple of months:

@hi.imciera for breaking down the IG algorithm in such an experimentative way ( The experiments she did last month on her acc are something I couldn't have ever thought of doing)

@divi.nem for consistently saying to trust the process (cuz I need that reassurance all the timeeee)

@momi.ugc for her honesty on how tricky this job is and how sometimes it makes you want to quit and become a troll under a bridge (in this economy it might be a vibe idk)

@smileswithlizzie for always making me laugh with her exciting vlogs and jokes (Miss Worldwide is a vibe)

@mindfulugc for always keeping me entertained with new things to learn about marketing every Monday night
(always teaches me new things)
