‘I went to see my lawyer on Saturday morning and she told me how many years I would get and advised me that I should just leave the country. They wouldn’t have an arrest warrant until Monday, so I could get out if I left by the following day. I just dropped everything, grabbed the money I had and I flew to Barcelona. ‘Mykonos was interesting.. This place would have been one big party in the ‘70s & ‘80s.. I was lucky enough to have my family with me, staying in a large stone house overlooking the ocean.. a stroll past the many cactus plants to the studio.
